The legs on the table are wobbly..meaning the reason for our economic blessings are phony and will not last forever..bearish thinking I know.
Back when the S&L crisis happened, the market wasnt as liquid nor was it at levels current, in fact I bet the DOW was less than 5k and the NAZ was 800 or so..I might be HIGH on those figures..
Our currency cannot stay at these levels forever and when it starts to reverse course, foreign consumption and investment will slow and that has been the driver for our growth over the past two years.
When the FED stops killing our currency it SHOULD start a global slowdown, and speaking purely on economic cycles and history, 2008 SHOULD be a tough year for the economy and the market..
But 2008 is a century away for short term traders...
