Beautiful day in South Florida & great cards across the country. Passing on the first 2 races @ GP & since their are better plays to come. Many jocks from GP are at Tampa & Javier is out on the west coast today. Interesting to see Trevor McCarthy here for a few races.

So the chalk #7 in the 3rd was claimed in his last & the new trainer puts him right back into the same class. I'm showing some discipline here & not bet this race. None of these have won in 6 months.

# 5 BL's Wagon is a 7 year old who comes up with a beauty every once in a while.

What a dummy! I was talking about Peter Walder giving his horses to trainer Fernando Abreu & now his #1 Lady Master goes gate to wire @ 4-1 & to make it worse #5 BL's Wagon runs 2nd @ 18-1.

R4 @ GP is a competitive one. #1 comes in from Tampa & has won 3 of 8; #2 has won 2 in a row @ GP & her last was very impressive; #3 has beaten #2 but that was 4 months ago @ Laurel; #4 has been away 8 months for Wesley Ward but did win 3 of 6 before her vacation; #5 is a shipper from Linda Rice who has only raced one other at the meet; she also picks up leading jock Saez & has banked almost 250k. #6 got into trouble against #2 in her last but seems to like GP; #7 has won 4 of 10 & got nailed at the wire by #2 in her last.

My play is a tri key of 2/567. 

Missed the tri by a length when the 4 caught the tiring 6 & 7 for 3rd.

Trainer Kelly Breen ( a real cool guy with dynamite hats) has won 3 of his last 4 races. #2 Pretty Perfection was his only entry of the day. 

R5 has two first timers & Pletcher has on of them in #9 Peachtree Majesty.

My eyes went to # 3 Write in Candidate. I heard Dale Romans earlier in the meet say he doesn't know if his 3 year old colts & fillies are speed or distance runners. I also saw that Lanarie is at Oaklawn & Luca gets the mount. Lets see if he really woke up in his last.

R6 looks like a classic "throw out their last race" scenario. It's a crap race & I like that Luis Saez gets on board #11 Harambe . Her last is a throw out & she won her other race.

R7 I think #2 Prudhoe Bay wins this one but will get a little aggressive.

Prudhoe Bay wins  by running down the #9 #4. Finish was 2-9-4.

I was hoping for a 4-9 ex but Prudhoe is a classy 6 yr old.

R8 I like #7 Mo Maverick who is a colt out of Uncle Mo & has been away 2 months for a nice breather. He's undefeated 2-2 on the grass in NY & he should like GP with Saez taking the ride.

Yikes....came in 7-9-1-2. Got beat out of the tri by a closing head for 3rd again.This will at least be a hundy tri...

No problem. Those of us who post enjoy it & hope we can all hit lightning in a bottle.

Haven't been able to make a solid play since the 8th race. Power Alert will be tough if he fires. Maybe #3 Conquest Tsunami doesn't get caught.
