238 years ago we fought a revolution to get away from the British. Why the hell does any American care about a child born in England that may one day be King and our enemy? Hey, children are born every minute. Why the big fuss? Or the butt-kissing?

When it comes to Americans, the hype is strictly for women and "players of the other team."  Believe me, no one here in the Northeast gives a sh!t.  As horrible as it sounds, I didn't give a sh!t when Diana died.  Sure it was a devastating tragedy for the Brits, but it didn't affect me one bit as a Yank.

Slob hit the nail on it's head, The only people that care about this are women and the brigade, Over here all of my male friends haven't mentioned a word about it.

Caring about a royal family member? No thanks, Now if this had been Beckham's kids I might have given a crap, He at least earned his way to the top.

Once a history teacher, I have read about Beckham and I agree with my friend from the United Kingdom.

It's about the pomp and circumstance.....the spectacle.  Has nothing to do with politics.  The only people I know who watch all that stuff are the self-absorbed and stuck up women.

South Park had a hilarious spoof a few years ago. It was the Canadian royals wedding. Almost pissed my pants when the Duke of Edmonton was introduced.

This is all about tabloids and has mentioned for women.

Wasn't there a guy who was from England that pretended to be a doctor and got completely exposed when he tried to post fake and cut/pasted medical advice?

I believe he was also the "Perez Hilton of covers"... Would be interesting to see what he thinks about the topic... Perhaps he could chime in using what ever login he being allowed to use now

  So are you suggesting that we should be interested in the royal baby being born or the name of the royal baby?

Congrats to the parents and I wish for good health for the child -- the same way I would feel for my neighbors who are due in 1 month.

You don't have to be excited about the royal baby, but why be so against the Brits?  You don't want to hear anything that's going on anywhere else in the world?  And you don't give a garbage if Diana dies, or Nelson Mandela dies, or if a group of innocent people are slaughtered in another land?  Are you just super annoyed that you have to hear about anything that's going on outside of the states?  First of all they are an ally, and even if they weren't I am on team human.  I don't care about the baby or news, but you can hear some news from around the world, you'll live.

Please don't compare Mandela to Diana or some irrelevant baby.
Come on.. he spent 27 years in prison, when released he forgave the people who tortured and humiliated him all those years, became president, united SA etc.
He's on the same level as Gandhi - probably higher (in my book anyway).
Royalty is just wrong. Noone should have special privileges because they are born into a certain family.

huh??? There is a big difference between caring about foreign policy and what is going on in the world and having a hard on for the birth of the royal child.
