You're right, it is stupid, because regardless of who is elected, it's all the same shit. The President is merely a puppit, a figure head that is there to create the illusion that we live in a democracy and have a choice. It's all bullshit, the president doesn't make all these decisions, he's simply a messenger.

Now that I look back on the election some thoughts.
1) The media in America is either stupid as shit or rigged. They never came out and said Obama wins this thing easily. I am watching the television and hearing how close it will be and looking on 5dimes and seeing a blowout. Now that it is a blow out I am disillusioned with the press. They do not have any better info than the gambling world. If the gambling world is so sure, why are they so confused. The only answer to me is they have an agenda. Instead of presenting the news and letting people decide, they are making the news. I think they are worried if they came out and said, "it is a landslide, Obama wins" that they could influence the election by energizing the Rep voter and giving the left a sense of complacency. So they are quiet and determine the election in their own way and their candidate wins. Also, did you notice how after the first debate, Obama was on the television everyday and I did not see Mitt one time. I saw glimpses of Obamas stump speech almost daily as my wife watched the news channels but Mitt fell off the face of the earth. I am not a rightie but will agree with them the press was presenting their boy much more. The powers that run the TV are sure powerful people.
