good point.  to subscribe to a particular religion, aren't you basically buying into a story and a particular set of hopes and dreams without any supporting facts whatsoever?  and paying for it?  

sounds a lot like what political parties are selling.  i would think many atheists and anti-religion people would be similarly skeptical of republican and democrat politicians and the brand of hope and change they are selling.

Why can't a man be free from not hearing the word "GOD" & "I pray for you".  Why do you have to pray for me, do I have a mental problem or something. That's the one thing that bother me the most.  Most of this is full of brainwash and people that are in a cult.  I guess cult sound bad, so we call it a religious group.  Why yes, that sound much better.  Why do these religious group ask us to come study the bible, coming knocking on our doors, ask for money donations... etc.  But when the time we need help;  the answer is pray for GOD and we don't have the funds.  This is most full of crap I've ever heard of.  People that doesn't talk or go to church are the one that seem normal, on the most part.  The one that talk about it and go to church seem to have a big loose screw in there head.  So really, you shouldn't preach about religious.  Because when your ass is about to get screw.  God, Jesus or Kermit the fog will not help you.  Everything is an excuse to why God can't do or can do.  It's just a form of nature that does the work.  Open your eyes people, your killing the world with this full of crap stuff.

Im not some big bible thumper, hell i have only read a few chapters in it but I also don't denounce there is a god just because i haven't "seen him."  Thats why they call it having faith.  It's not easy...and why should it be?

When stuff like this happens I almost always have no idea why.  I can not claim to know why good things happen to bad people or bad things happen to good people.  Accidents happen and there may or may not be a reason behind it.  If i was forced to take a stance on this I would say that accidents happen and in this case it happened to a Pastor.  It could have happened to a homeless man but then no one would have cared much probably. People can hold beliefs and they can hold them as truth through faith but there is no way to know for certain.  I believe in a higher power but I don't believe in people who act with such righteousness and pride that they do not consider any other points of view.  The mystery of God or a higher power is that we can never fully understand its ways completely.

That is point: GOD is in control of every thing and people find it very hard to understand. We can only trust by faith and except that God knows what is best for our life.
