Its funny how earlier in the thread you mentioned the oil spill and Katrina as being punishment. The real Christian fanatics, and there are a few out there that mean well but play the role of the stereotypes to well, said that Katrina was punishment for all the Mississippi Coast Casinoes and for all the evil that was a part of New Orleans with the voodoo and Bourbon Street and all. I dont believe in all that junk. That, to me, is stretching it pretty thin.
Eagle, would there be a difference to YOU,whether they were accusing GOD,for letting it happen...or Satan for MAKING it happen.Basically,I would like to know if you think there was a DEMONIC force involved,or a lack of GOD-DIVINE intervention ?

Neither Satan induced nor God induced. It was just an act of nature. It is just another one of the many complex ways in which the earth was designed to correct itself.

You can believe the Bible and not the Quran because the Bible covers the beginning of time to the end of time as we know it. I keep saying on here that it IS a history book. A history book of the past, present, and future. It is laid out what has come to pass and what is to come. How do I know this, because Bible prophecy is unfolding before our eyes and has unfolded throughout time. Many predictions have already happened. If you dont know anything about the Bible then you cant know this.
I would like to hear about some of these predictions that have come true.

1. do animals have genetics that pass from parent to offspring?
2. are there sometimes mutations in these genetics?
3. do these mutations lead to changes in the offspring creating an advantage or disadvantage ?
4. if the mutation created a change that was an advantage would the animal have a better chance for survival?
5. would the animal carry the mutated genetics in it's DNA with the potential of passing this advantage on to it's own offspring?
6. could this mutated genetic advantage multiply in numbers due to the success of survival creating a new different animal than it's earlier generations?
i dont think any of the questions are even questionable, i dont understand how anyone could "poo poo" the idea of evolution, even if god planted animals on the planet why couldnt he have devised this awesome system to better his own creation? not even plausible?

says: "By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son"
galatians 4:22
says: "For it is written, that Abraham had two sons"
didnt they proof read that shit? same bible too, no lost in translation excuses, galatians and hebrews should have had a talk and gotten their stories straight, maybe?

Open up that king james bible to pages:
hebrews 11:17
says: "By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son"
galatians 4:22
says: "For it is written, that Abraham had two sons"

The answer to this apparent contradiction is found in understanding the typological representation of Isaac, Abraham's second born son, as a type of Christ. Abraham had Ishmael by the handmaiden Hagar. But Isaac was the child of promise, not Ishmael: "But God said to Abraham, "Do not be distressed because of the lad and your maid; whatever Sarah tells you, listen to her, for through Isaac your descendants shall be named,'" (Gen. 21:12).
If you look at the chart below, you will see the similarities between Isaac and Jesus. In other words, Isaac was a prophetic representation of Jesus. This is why Jesus said, "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad," (John 8:56). Abraham had, in a very real sense, seen the gospel presentation in the offering of his son, his "only begotten." So, we see here that the term "only begotten" is in reference to the unique son of God and Isaac was acting out the sacrifice of Christ, prophetically.

He has already discredited himself because he hasnt read the Bible. Some nutty professor somewhere said those things and bs just repeated it. He has no knowledge. He says that stuff just to string us along.

One prediction and perhaps the most amazing because it was thought to be impossible was the rebirth of Israel as a nation and this just happened in the 1900's. There are others.

Day 1: Sky, Earth, light Day 2: Water, both in ocean basins and above the sky Day 3: Plants Day 4: Sun, Moon, Stars Day 5: Sea monsters, fish, birds, land animals, reptiles, insects Day 6: Two peeps in the hizzouse Day 7: Nothing
does the light come from a mag-light?
water on a planet with no sun? why didnt they call it ice?
sea monsters! run!
this adam first, then eve or adam and eve at the same time seems to be quite the dilema for the simple minded.
why not rest during day 4? maybe he was in a hurry, his plants were shivering cold.

1. There are several mundane ways in which a prediction of the future can be fulfilled: 1. Retrodiction. The "prophecy" can be written or modified after the events fulfilling it have already occurred. 2. Vagueness. The prophecy can be worded in such a way that people can interpret any outcome as a fulfillment. Nostradomus's prophecies are all of this type. Vagueness works particularly well when people are religiously motivated to believe the prophecies. 3. Inevitability. The prophecy can predict something that is almost sure to happen, such as the collapse of a city. Since nothing lasts forever, the city is sure to fall someday. If it has not, it can be said that according to prophecy, it will. 4. Denial. One can claim that the fulfilling events occurred even if they have not. Or, more commonly, one can forget that the prophecy was ever made. 5. Self-fulfillment. A person can act deliberately to satisfy a known prophecy.
There are no prophecies in the Bible that cannot easily fit into one or more of those categories.
2. In biblical times, prophecies were not simply predictions. They were warnings of what could or would happen if things did not change. They were meant to influence people's behavior. If the people heeded the prophecy, the events would not come to pass; Jonah 3 gives an example. A fulfilled prophecy was a failed prophecy, because it meant people did not heed the warning.
3. The Bible also contains failed prophecies, in the sense that things God said would happen did not (Skeptic's Annotated Bible n.d.). For example: * Joshua said that God would, without fail, drive out the Jebusites and Canaanites, among others (Josh. 3:9-10). But those tribes were not driven out (Josh. 15:63, 17:12-13). * Ezekiel said Egypt would be made an uninhabited wasteland for forty years (29:10-14), and Nebuchadrezzar would plunder it (29:19-20). Neither happened.
4. Other religions claim many fulfilled prophecies, too (Prophecy Fulfilled n.d.).

how about Jesus's last words? Seems to be some infighting in the bible about this one.
MAT 27:46,50: "And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, eli, lama sabachthani?" that is to say, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" ...Jesus, when he cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost."
LUK 23:46: "And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, "Father, unto thy hands I commend my spirit:" and having said thus, he gave up the ghost."
JOH 19:30: "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, "It is finished:" and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost."
BS 4:SALE: "When Jesus pondered his predicament he muttered, "Big Mistake!", shook his head and became a ghost."

we came from a magical green gue right? BS you don't have the answers, so what do you want? to prove that nothing is proven, that's done. but you dont have answers so we laugh at those who have differant ideas even though you do not have all the answers
