Do you think an Intelligent Designer could've planted the very seeds for the process of Evolution ?
Personally, I do not see much "Intelligent Design" when it comes to Man in the first place.....hopefully it was just an 'off day' at the shop.

One trend that has certainly developed here is that everyone is trying to dispute Christianity and why its stupid and unbelievable, yet no one seems to really have an opinion on or an argument for what it is that they actually believe.
Bring some more Bible questions for me.

I never understood the concept of "going to church." Most people sit there bored out of their mind for the hour. If someone spends 1 hour a week there for a year that's 52 hours. If people really cared they would spend that 52 hours volunteering their time in the community. There are people in need all around.
Instead of sitting there praying to someone no one has ever met, here is a thought...get off your ass and do something productive.
Is there a god? Who gives a flying fuck. We don’t need a god to make this world a better place. But at the end of the day 95% of all the people in the world are lazy and selfish.
I'm of course included in the 95%. I can admit it. The religious people in the 95% who think they are "better" than everyone else drive me nuts. Whether you believe in god or not does not define if you are a good person or not.

As a Christian one of the things that I find hokey and impossible to believe is that some sort of collision happened in space at some point in time and suddenly there was something as complex and detailed as the earth left from the aftermath with a bunch of monkeys running around that over time evolved into what is known today as human beings. If this is real, then monkeys must still be evolving into humans because there sure are still a lot of monkeys running around out there. Now dont get me wrong, I like monkeys and all, but what kind of silliness is that? That is certainly a hokey theory that comes no where close to adding up.

Your are spending too much time with your nose in the Bible instead of trying to do some actual research in evolutionary theory.
Man never 'evolved' from monkey's. At some point in time 7 to 10 million years ago, the line that is now 'monkeys' and the line that is now 'man' had a 'common' ancestor.
That is why there are still monkey's running around out there, with man.

Kujayhwk, I admit, I dont know much about evolution except that it is another unproven theory. What I just did by saying that about monkeys is make the point to everyone on here who think they have Christianity pegged without actually having any knowledge about it other than what some nutty professor taught them or what they assume. You cant have a credible opinion about what you dont know about. I dont have to know about other junk because Jesus is plainly the only way. Close minded or not, it is what the Bible says. Thank you for assisting me in making my point. I knew someone would.

OakyDoak you are correct, hokey is a funny word.lol You are also right in that accidents happen. It probably was just an act of carelessness. That happens. This time a preacher just happened to be in the way. However, everything happens for a reason according to the will of God. Heck, you guys probably saved me some money by wrapping me up in this thread. I did no capping or betting last night or today thanks to you guys.

Another common trend here is that everyone posting against me with the exception of a couple do so in a sarcastic hostile tone. Whats up with that? Is that a grumpiness that can only come from the lost?lol

Fair enough...I certainly have no desire to change your belief system.
However, it would seem to me that if the Creator gave you the cognitive ability to do so, why would you not have a desire to use that God-given gift to just learn "about other junk" as you put it? Expand what you know, see all of the wonderful things God wrought, some from a different viewpoint.
Investigating this "other junk" would certainly not sway a person with 'true faith', but would honor your Creator in using the abilities he has endowed you with.
I am sure God 'smiles' on all curious and exploratory people, and not just those that have 'solid faith'.

Its funny how earlier in the thread you mentioned the oil spill and Katrina as being punishment. The real Christian fanatics, and there are a few out there that mean well but play the role of the stereotypes to well, said that Katrina was punishment for all the Mississippi Coast Casinoes and for all the evil that was a part of New Orleans with the voodoo and Bourbon Street and all. I dont believe in all that junk. That, to me, is stretching it pretty thin.
