No it does not. Humans, chimpanzees, orangutans, and other apes all have a broken vitamin c gene in the same place. That gene enables other mammals to produce vitamin c naturally. We can't.  How do completely unrelated species (as you claim) have identical broken genes at the same place in the genome if not for common ancestry?

Sure Rostos, howbout you ask god to let us? After all, he used to let people live for thousands of years right, that would be long enough to test evolution at least a little bit. Oh wait, that's right, god started killing people sooner. Evolution has been observed through fossils and the like and we can observe the similarities and clearly see how species evolved. How do you want science to actually test evolution? Do you want scientists to just make it happen? Should I go get an evolutionary stone and use it to change my pikachu into raichu? Would that satisfy you?

Never said disregard everything written by man. Stop trying to twist things. We already know how you like to make things up

Point is, the bible was written by man, not god....

Almost every sentence spoken can be interpreted metaphorically in such a way to mean exactly what you want it to mean. The bible is meaningless. And the Earth doesn't "hang on nothing." It moves...constantly. It rotates completely once a day and orbits the sun fully once a year. It doesn't float off into space because of gravity. I would hardly call that "nothing."

It cant be tested, observed and repeated.

    Therefore, it is a theory.

We already established this is a possibility. We went through this yesterday. I'm not saying it's fact and neither are scientists, but it's a hypothesis.

The article describes salamanders in a region in Oregon and California. The same species begins at the top of the region and splits down a mountain range. At the bottom of the mountain range the two species that came from one originally are no longer able to breed. Making them separate species. How can one species split into two if they didn't evolve?

If they did that how come humans and other apes could not have done that? It probably took much longer but it's the same damn thing. You are really too easy.

I didn't know there were people that actually didn't believe evolution (other than the brainless fucks who think the Earth is 6,000 years old) until I encountered Rostos lol

The bible says each star is unique

"There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory. "

This is impossible to know with the naked eye. How does the bible knopw this without technology? Oh i forgot, they were just great cappers.

Everyone thought the world was eternal, the bible clearly states it has a beginning. How does the bible know this without the technology? Oh i forgot, they were just good cappers...

I can go n and on and on...

Hey KittyKatz, do you think the Harry potter book will tell me some stuff that science will confirm in about 2000 years time?

    Discuss,

At the big bang, space, time and matter began to exist.

You either believe, Space, time and matter created itself out of nothing, by nothing for nothing OR

Something OUTSIDE of space, time and matter created space, time and matter.

If you believe in the 1st, then you believe something can come from nothing in this natural world.

I am sorry, but that is what you are limited to

ABIOGENISIS has NEVER been observed, tested and repeated.

It is not a scientific fact.

    But lets believe that anyway....

Heck, everything else happened by fluke, why not this as well.

I'm not making any claims to how the universe formed. I could reject big bang cosmology and still not accept your answer.  All I'm saying is i don't believe your story. I will wait for the answer if and when it comes.

Fact is there has never been an explanation of the previously unknown natural phenomena  that when we discover what the real answer is had anything to do with the supernatural. So why would i think the universe was made supernaturally when that assertion has always been wrong?

    Or..how about this

God initiated the Big Bang 13.7 billion years ago, and modern cosmology, astronomy, and physics describe its history since then.

God created the first proto-cells on earth 3.8 billion years ago, and evolutionary biology describes the history of the diversification of life since then.

Are you on board with 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st century science now? Or do you still think that astronomy, cosmology, biology, physics, chemistry, genetics, geology, archeology, paleontology, biochemistry, geophysics, etc. are all still wrong?

Also br. van who currently is a heathen gave you Part 14 of 23 two days ago but yesterday he didn't give you part of 15 of 23 and so today I continue with part 15 of the series. I guess the Good Lord only needed to use the heathen a few days, again as they say the Lord works in mysterious ways.)

Now remember, I said creation is still going on. Adam was freely offered eternal life. He was complelled to make a choice. Had he and Eve made the choice to believe God---accept knowledge from God, instead of taking to themselves the determination of the knowledge of what is good and what is evil---they could have taken of the tree of life.

That tree symbolically represented the Holy Spirit of God. Taking it would have impregnated within them God life--spirit -life. Then Adam's creation would have been completed within his life-time. He would ultimately have been changed from mortal to immortal---from physical material composition to being composed of spirit, even as God is!

But the first humans rejected basic revelation of knowledge from God---just as humanity has done ever since. They rejected the way God set in motion to cause peace, prosperity, happiness and joy. They limited the acquisition of knowledge to their human minds.

And ever since, man has tried to go his own way---governing himself---living the "get" way, with unconcern for the good of others. And man's way has resulted in all the mountain of evils that has been built up in this world.

Therein is the explanation of all the illiteracy, the poverty, the disease and squalor of the world's majority. Therein is the explanation of the evils that exist in the "more advanced" and "developed" areas of the world. They have education--but with a great, vast dimension missing! Education with no knowledge of the purpose of life. Education that can produce computers, fly missions into space and back, but cannot solve man's problems.

And why? Because the problems are spiritual and man has rejected the knowledge of God's spiritual law---the way of life that would cause peace and universal good!

But has God left stricken humanity to its fate?

    By no means.

God's spiritual creation is still in progress.

The real answer was brought out by Job. "If a man die, shall he live again?" Job asked--and answered: "All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands" (Job 14:14-15).

The latter part of his quotation, most often overlooked, is the key to this whole riddle. Read it again!

"Thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands"! Study that! Job knew he was merely the work of God's hands. Merely a piece of divine workmanship in the hands of the Creator. Merely a piece of plastic clay in the hands of the Master Potter.

    [/Quo?

    What the?

We know the universe is NOT eternal. So did something pop out of nothing by nothing.
