Poll: What Is The Most Boring Sport To Watch?

My Vote Goes Easily To Baseball.

First of all,zillion games a season,even fans lose interest when they play 5 days in a week.It's on TV every day,midweek,weekend.bothing sacred or cool about it.When I see the background,fans either eat hot dog,drink beer or take a nap.Most fans go there just as a picnic or to talk with each other,not to see anything exciting,because deep inside they know it's boring as hell

Teams play each other many times in baseball,that's another reason.For instance in NFL,only 16 games a season and they play twice,but in baseball

Guys spitting,snoring,farting.playing with their cap,jersey for before throwing a ball is not a way of sports entertainment to me.It even looks gross to be honest.3-4 hours of torture

Baseball teams give bobbleheads,giveaways etc to attract fans yet still cant,in NBA,NFL,euro soccer people are drawn to stadiums every game day,mostly sold out.

Yes,I have been to Giants games many times and in Boston I was going to Fenway Park and witnessed Yankees-Red Sox,so I know the sport,most rules but it's just the way it is,boring as hell.

Baseball isnt even a team sport,it boils down to batter vs pitcher,rest just picks up the garbage.

You can see many non athlete players,fat,lazy,obese,whatever,dont worry,you can still be a baseball player,but you sure cant be playing soccer,football or basketball.

Managers who are 100+ old wearing uniform,eating sunflower seeds,yeah thats the most entertaining sport view

Most players are pussies,the guy catches the ball and misses next game because he hurt his back,give me a friggin break.Other hurts himself while eating doughnut during the game

Not even mentioning how fun the announcers are yet

Golf (to those who consider this a sport).

If you want to see an incredible shot...SportsCenter will have that 1 in their Top 10.

baseball is also one of the hardest sports to play.. why i say that?  well it is an every day (for most part) individual sport.  Can you hit a 90+mph fastball with some movement? yeh me either..
can you do it everyday? no way. and now consider this...can you hit that ball out of the park 400ft away?  you need a quick reaction time to get a great swing for great contact on it or you foul it off.

of course its easy to play defense in baseball.. but the hitting is remotely difficult on a daily basis if you really consider all the aspects of it. you are in a stadium with thousands watching. 90+mph ball coming right at you, slightly off target and hits you.

sure i give you that it takes a while for it to be played and this results in being boring...but what about the lack of offense in soccer.

the reason they play each other many times throughout the season is to have new pitchers each time (or atleast try to)

golf is not that boring to watch because we can relate to playing it, we use the same clubs..etc

soccer is consistent 45mins of kicking back and forth.  sure i am a soccer fan and have played since a kid, but i have to say it would be labeled by Americans who dont play it as the most boring sport.

I vote for football.  Just an insane amount of time where nothing is going on. 

But baseball is pure shit to watch unless you have a wager on it

I can't imagine someone really watching baseball w/ nothing on it and really being into every fucking pitch

Plus the worst are the sox/yankee games where players step out of the box after every fucking pitch, sneeze, or breath

Only good thing Joe West ever said is that those games are a fucking joke

Plus Football w/ it's hundred plus commercials a quarter who they hell wants to watch commercials

Baseball is the only sport in which it's own players are even bored w/ the game

Have you been to a game lately and seen how many people are doing anything but paying attention to the game (texting, drinking games, keeping score) until the 8th or 9th innings

I love both sports but unless I have $ on them couldn't watch them b'c they are tooo little action for me

Baseball is great to watch. A sport doesnt have to be fast paced to be exciting. There is a ton of standing around in football. I still dont understand why football has become by far the most popular sport in this country. Bowling is the most boring to watch

If I didn't wager on the sport i dont think i'd even watch the superbowl. So much hype, so much foolishness involving players and their personal problems, so many bud light commercials, so much standing around and sweating, so much brett favre, so much blah blah blah

I'm sure most of you have already seen this, but this article from the Wall Street Journal breaks down the amount of action in your average football game (11 minutes out of 60).  

There is nothing better then watching a football game in the winter with the snow outside, fireplace on, eating a bowl of chili and drinking a good beer. Maybe its what you make of it.

In baseball during the playoffs, every at bat counts which makes it very intense. Agreed during regular season not the greatest sport to watch on TV.

I use to think Hockey, but after watching the Blackhawks run at the SC, I have changed my mind. Very intense.

My vote is soccer. I watched the US & England game yesterday and I have to admitt I just get what all the excitement is about this sport.

NASCAR, this shouldn't even be a debate.

Nascar is absolute hell. I dont get how people watch the shit. I dont consider it a sport so im going to have to go with soccer. I used to hate watching golf until i started playing it a few years back. When you play you just realize how difficult it is and you gain a whole new respect for it. I still dont mind watching golf and its way down on my list but dont hate it anymore.

I agree 100%. I was invited to go to a live Nascar event in Joliet Illinois & I turned down my friends offer. Watching Nascar live or on TV is something I wouldn't waste 3 seconds on.
