Honestly, if there was a God and that was his response to prayer, I think we would all be better off with God not in our lives. 


And what if you found out he is in a much much much better place right now than if he stayed on earth?

Now don't come back with , well, why don't we kill everyone then...Well, "thou shall not kill",so don't even bother going there. We don't have authority to take life. God gives life and he can take it whenever he wants. He isn't under anyones obligation to prolong anyones life.

that "thou shall niot kill" is such bullshit, at least in our country.  every president and most other politicians in washington talk about how they are such good christians at one point or another, some all of the time, yet they give orders to kill people constantly.  no christian leaders seem to have an issue with it.  no god has put a stop to it.  that commandment doesn't seem to have much to it.

God did not begin to exist, He is eternal in the past. The definition is "everything that begins to exist has a cause"

space, time and matter began to exist, including the point of singularity from which the space, time continuam began to from.

This is a big problem for Atheists, so much so they posit a multiverse (which we have no evidence for). Atheists in the past used to believe in an eternal universe, simply because they know the problems a beginning of a universe creates for atheism.



the universe had a beginning, but "god" is eternal

and you know this, how?

this is a problem for a believer...

No buddy it is you who has a broad view of the meaning of the word faith.Answer this for me, when you place a wager and put your "faith" in the team you bet, is it the same faith you put into believing in God. ?

Prove to me this better place exists. Give me empirical evidence this place actually exists.

Otherwise you're claims are no more credible than that of any other religion which makes the same far fetched promises for following their, often at times, absurd doctrine.

Why believe in Christianity when I could convert to Islam and get 70-some odd virgins for killing infidels?

I would argue that it takes more faith to not believe in any heaven or hell given the pressures of any part of society to actually believe in them.

You know what I like about atheist? They don't tell me I'm going to an eternal hell if I don't believe in exactly what they say and do exactly how they do. They don't bother me to try and convert to atheism. They don't knock in my door and bother me during the weekend.

1. He doesn't have to give you any evidence. He is not the one making a claim that defies the natural laws of physics.

2. We know the big bang exists because we have seen the remnants of it through super telescopes. And we have recreated mini big bangs via particle accelerators and seen results that mirror what we see in space.

3. If you honestly don't believe electrons exist then there is no point in discussing this further. That is the dumbest request we have ever gotten. "Prove electrons" LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

yes on muslims, no on black people unless it's about black people who are doing crazy, bad and/or hypocritical garbage to further their agenda, whatever that would be.

but if you make one about muslims, i'd advise limiting it to muslims in this country.  is there some crazy muslim hating women or gays or doing some other stupid garbage to influence policy in syria right now?  sure, but i don't care, it has no effect on me.

1. Yes he does because something is possible within come from natures laws it doesn't mean that is what happened. You are taking faith in the big bang THEORY.

2. You haven't seen the big bang or any scientist hasn't seen the big bang themselves. Doing an re-enactment proves empirically that it happened? So i go to a Christian play that re-an acts there particular god. I can say I've seen how the world began....

3.No basis for your ad homem attack here. The religious percan say if you don't believe in god than Hahahaha too. Seriously explain how do you know empirically that an electron exists? Because you have FAiTH in science? You have been told that at school? Have you ever seen an electron?
