Yeah, Vanz is a real renaissance man. He even used to drive UBERthat is when he wasn't riding his yacht.

Sorry  Vanz, you set yourself up for that one. Don't worry, I used to drive LYFT myself. It was a novelty at first. But after a cyclist ran into my car, I decided the liability was not worth it.

Thx for all the insight, van and others. Like many here who may not know the ins and outs of soccer like we do in others

 sports, I’m curious as to your thoughts on the teams out of contention as we enter game 3 particularly related to style and intensity. I’m guessing with the stage so large, no teams are going to mail it in but I wonder if the same passion and energy are there? And how about style? Perhaps over deserves the first look because maybe a team like Costa Rica for example isnt going to look the play defense first, they are going to look to score? If anyone has any recollection of game 3 taking a different shape for these elimainated teams I’d love to hear thoughts thx

The other three games are very line up dependent.  I can't think about handicapping Uruguay / Russia until I know who is playing.  On a normal day, I am taking Uruguay at a PK all day long, but if they rest players - we will see....

I will post the other three games once lineups are up - usually about an hour before.

I will also update my record and get to a lot of posts in the thread soon.

My thoughts exactly in regards to the Saudi Egypt over. Is there any chance that Spain WONT win? I mean everyone seems to be seeing them as the best team so far in the world cup. Spain needs this win to top the group and morroco is down for the count.  They have all the resources to do it.

I am not a fan of laying a goal and a half.  I did it with Spain against Iran because of the spot - but I won't do it here against Morocco.
