Group A
- Uruguay << Top tier of the group - expect to advance
- Egypt (if Salah is healthy) << I expect a good game between Egypt and Russia
- Russia << beat Saudi 5-0 but I am not impressed
- Saudi Arabia << bottom
Group B
- Spain << They should have won the game against Portugal. Lots of good thing going for them - Isco is the backbone of the Spaniard.
- Portugal << Play well but I do not think they can go all the way - a bit below Spain
- Morocco << Done
- Iran << Beat Morrocco as a lesser team - will not advance in this group
Group C
- France << Dismal performance against Aussie, still come out ahead 1-0. Need to improve or will not pass round 16
- Denmark << Beat Peru as a lesser team
- Peru << Heartbroken loss to Denmark - still have a chance to advance
- Australia << Will not advance
Group D
- Croatia << Top tier team
- Argentina (Argentina is not as strong as their name) << Weak performance against Iceland - hard to read.
- Nigeria << Will not advance
- Iceland << Could be a surprise team
Group E
- Brazil << Lame ass team, hard to back the rest of the way - will advance to the next round
- Costa Rica << Bottom of the group
- Switzerland << Tie Brazil but I am not impressed
- Serbia << Have a good chance to advance
- Germany << Another lame ass team, playing with little urgency and motivation - WTF - will still advance
- Mexico << Beat Germany but is a lesser team than Germany
- Sweden << Play OK but will probably lose to Mexico and Germany
- South Korea << Bottom of the group
Group G
- Belgium << Looking good with lots of patience, Debrunne is at the top of his game.
- England << Um-impressive performance, might still can get in but not go far
- Panama << Not going to advance
- Tunisia << Not going to advance
Every day out of the red is a big win.
