    England vs Costa Rica:

An England win and they top the gr---------- ........  ??????

Not sure what happened to this England team.  They lack a bit of chemistry in the final third and though they are good defensively they are not solid enough to rely upon it.  Costa Rica have done well and will progress as the shocking group winner.  Good for them, but England are a proud footballing nation and will go for the jugular in this one.  I think England win 2-0 or so.

    Columbia vs Japan:

Columbia have secured tops of the group barring something strange (which I do not see) whereas Japan need the 3 points an even then are not guaranteed (although it would be likely) of qualification.  I think Columbia are a quality, well-balanced side and Japan are technically sound but lack punch.  Perhaps they explode in this one.  I think they are worth the play as I can see Columbia coming out flat and Japan playing to their best.

    Greece vs Ivory Coast:

Should be one of the most physical matches of the tournament as well as one of the closest.  Will come down to the final minutes where it may be tied.  I think the Ivorians are rather strange in the way they play but are effective nonetheless.  Against a Greek squad that can match them physically I see them struggling.  Greece have played okay thus far and though not known for scoring goals I see them getting 1 tomorrow.  Close close game with a draw very possible as well as a Greek win which I think is actually more likely than an Ivorian one.

What Uruguay lacks in the mid field they make up for it with their strikers. No team in this World Cup has a duo like Cavani and Suarez. You are right about the mid field not being great but they have work horses that win balls and find their main threats up top. I think Uruguay wins another close game 2-1. I wouldnt say Italy is class at every position either. Aside from Chiellini that defense is pretty brutal. Best of luck.

    Argentina vs Nigeria:

Historically a tight match as the last three meetings have been 1 goal wins for Argentina, a popular result for them as of late.  That is the thing, Argentina have not been impressive.  They may rest a couple of starters, but will still be lethal in attack against Nigeria's okay defense.  Nigeria will likely play a tight game with the occasional counter.  I think there is a good chance Argentina win this match without conceding, could also see a 2-0 win.  Not a ton of value, but I think enough to merit this play:

    Argentina (-1) -120

    Bosnia vs Iran:

As I expected, Bosnia have struggled.  They have been in both of the matches they played and under normal circumstances I may like them vs Iran, but these are not normal circumstances.  Bosnia are deflated and pointing fingers (Dzeko blaming ref) whereas Iran know a win and they are likely into the next round.  I personally see Iran as a very focused team and able to grind out the w.  Do not see Bosnia being patient enough to break down Iran and I see a very physical match with Iran pulling out the victory.

    Iran (+278)
    Red Card (+326)

    Switzerland vs Honduras:

I really like Switzerland, but in my heart of hearts I see them slipping up.  They are young and against a physical Honduran side I can see them struggling...  Do not see them grinding out a 1/2-0 win or scoring 3 goals and though it is a bit juicy I like the following bet:

Switzerland NOT to win with a clean sheet (-173)

    France vs Ecuador:

Love this game.  France are qualified (barring an astronomical meltdown) and Ecuador need 1-3 points depending on what Switzerland produce.  I expect Ecuador as an underdog to go gung-ho as they naturally do.  France will play a relaxed, stress-free possession game and likely rest 1-2 players which I do not see as a downgrade but an excellent move.  A draw is a possible result and though it costs me some value I actually prefer the DNB.  Expecting a high-scoring match and will play the over as well.

    *Ecuador (DNB) +278
    *Over (2.5) -128

I wouldnt say Italy is class at every position either. Aside from Chiellini that defense is pretty brutal. Best of luck.

Sad to see my Italians bow out :(  I will likely play the draw in Algeria/Russia.  Really liking the next couple days an especially Ecuador not to lose tomorrow.

Simply put, Honduras WILL score via a goal scorer or own goal. If that doesn't make sense, the bet states that Honduras WILL have at least 1 next to their name in the score column.
