Opinions on possible trade?

Question

I would give up Big Ben, Jones-Drew, and Bowe for Cutler, Jamal Lewis, and New York Giant defense. This is a defense heavy league. I think Cutler is a better option this year than Ben. Jones-Drew is inconsistent and I would pick up Lewis hoping he performs better later in the season. Bowe has been consistent but I desperately need a better defense because we play two and I have Carolina and need something better than St. Louis or the Raiders defenses. Am I giving up too much? My other receivers are Calvin Johnson and Ward. I plan on picking up a third receiver off of waivers. Clinton Portis is my other running back. Opinions are welcome thanks.
