Game of inches this week...lost by 2 points....Coulda, shoulda, woulda... If I would have stuck with Brees instead of Warner would have been the difference by itself.

Team 4-4 Still sitting in the #6 playoff spot, but have a tough gauntlet of teams to face.

Other league also drops a game now 5-3.

QB Warner by default... Brees bye

RB Barber and Chris Johnson( How sick would his numbers be if Lendale didn't steal all the goalline carries )   Deuce bye and L. White bench reserve

    WR Calvin Johnson #1

Man just wish I could have snagged a dominant #2 WR...

    Choices:
    Driver lean - at Tenn
    R. Williams at NYG still not seeing enough looks for me to take a chance here.
D, Mason at Clev - after one catch for 3 yards last week ...Not to warm and fuzzy with him
    D. Henderson- Bye

Scafie has one the starting TE spot over LJ Smith

New K is Akers as I had to drop Kasay with bye.

    Tampa Bay D against Chiefs
    Minnesota D against Texans

Matt Jones best available WR Point producers available.... Going to make a strong bid to obtain and drop LJ Smith.

Just what I need more tough decisions at the #2 WR position.

    Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars and Browns have both come up short of expectations so far, says Michael C. Wright.

Matt Jones said he's waiting on the result of his appeal of a three-game suspension, according to Jim Nasella

If he doesn't win his appeal he is looking at a 3 game suspension.

Thanks Nevada.... Probably explains why someone dropped him this week.... Still think he may be of more value to my team even if he is suspended for a 3 game stretch versus LJ.... Scafie showed me enough tonight to be the TE I'll ride the rest of the year.

Well I think Bowe should be the odd man out... Terrible QB situation... Larry Johnson ? and going aginsy Bucs D

Berrian and Avery have both been playing strong the past 3 weeks and are must starts IMO.

I would use Rhodes as the flex as this Colt team still needs to have balance between pash/rush to be successful... Pats only #20 against rush anyway.

Tough call between Plax and DJackson.... as Philly has Westbrook back. I still think I would play percentages with D Jackson against the #30 Pass D of Seattle

    Ok misunderstood...

Looks like you already have a lot of players in your lineup for Indy/NE.... so maybe you pass on Rhodes for that reason although I think he will see some daylight against the NE #20 Rush D.

I think if I had to pick one receiver out of that nice assortment... I would go with Berrian his production the past few weeks has been outstanding.

If you decide not to play Rhodes at the flex I go Avery

oh and by the way I lost by less than a point when dumb ass manning threw a pick and Tenn scored late in the game
Bironas kicked the extra point to give me the loss
    im 5-3 in 2 pool's
3-5 in one and 4-4 in another

Homegrown... i would use Gonzalez and Walter.  Engram is useless until/if Hasselback comes back.  I own him too and he's useless.

I would pick up Hill simply because Martz is the OC.  With no LJ and the showing Thigpen had they'll make the adjustments.

    QB: Orton (garcia or anderson)

RB: westbrook and mcgahee (bush hurt, julius jones, buckhalter)

WR: fitzgerald and edwards (breaston, holmes)

    TE: owen daniels

    K: elam

    def: NYG

not as many choices for me this week
    1. edwards vs. breaston or holmes.

    2. someone just dropped chambers should i drop holmes (could get suspended and might not play him this week anyway) and pick up chambers even though he is on bye

    3. what do u think of elam @ oak or should i consider picking up someone else???  i know crosby and prater are available.

Hey Bustin-got a win against a strong team this past week, improves me to 3-5.

QB -Schaub and Eli Manning -leaning Schaub .
RB -LT on bye, Felix Jones hurt ...
Do I start Ryan Grant and or Leron Mclain ..

    WR -Chambers/Colston on bye ...
I will start Boldin, Desean Jackson and then my Big Dilemma , either Antonio Bryant or Devin Hester (my opponent will likely start Orton) or start both and decide between Grant /Mclain ..

SO would you start Grant or Leron McClain ?
    A. Bryant or D. Hester -I can drop one and pick up Avery and Ryan Torain is available ..

Homegrown- To echo the same advice given I would go Walter and Gonzalez at WR.

I honestly think the Chiefs are a total wreck at QB.... I'd take my chances with Hill at QB

jw1ls- I think I stick with Edwards at WR... Running is going to be a difficult task against the Ravens...so cleveland will need to air it out.

Holmes has had a pretty quiet season... Seems like you guys are more up on the pending/appeal suspensions. I dunno tough call Chambers has been slowed by injury, he played this past week though..... I probably don't do it unless you know for sure about the suspension because the guy I drop usually blows up after that.

Kickers are always a crapshhot IMO and should be considered bonus points... I think Elam should be OK against the Raiders , Crosby is also a decent prospect against Tenn as they might have a tough time putting it in the endzone.

umgmu- Congrats on your win bro.

Schaub QB, Got to go with Ryan as McClain has disappeared the last few weeks from the Ravens running game.

I don't think Hester has been doing that much this year.... I  might be inclined to waive him for Avery and start him and Bryant

I dunno no why I found this funny... but Hines Ward does everything for the Steelers

Steelers | Ward may hold Week 9
    Tue, 28 Oct 2008 13:59:13 -0700

The Associated Press reports Pittsburgh Steelers WR Hines Ward will hold for field goals and extra points in the team's Week 9 game if P Mitch Berger (hamstring) is not able to play.

    Choices:
Driver lean - at Tenn    my lean as well
    R. Williams at NYG still not seeing enough looks for me to take a chance here. Have  agree, watched both games dont remember him having more than that 1 grab...too must of a stirrup in dallas.
D, Mason at Clev - after one catch for 3 yards last week ...Not to warm and fuzzy with him i wouldnt let last week get to me too much. if you liked mason before his 1catch 3yd game you should still like him...he WAS facing one of the leagues best corners last wk.
    D. Henderson- Bye

Sam- I think I play Graham against the porous KC Defense as #1 choice

#2 Check status of Addai as the week progresses as I think I saw he may be upgraded to probable.... Rule of thumb if he practices Thursday & Friday they play. If he is out then go with Rhodes

#3 Continue to check on seeing injury reports on Morris and if he practices I start him, If not go with Green-Ellis.

If Addai  is practicing you should insert M. Moore in that place out of default against a stout Wash D.

I use kffl breaking news as my resource

My team acquires Matt Jones with a nice matchup at Cincy and have not seen any official decision by league on his suspension and planning on bumping him to #2 WR over Driver.  Anyone disagree here?

Although stastically Cincy D is #8 in the league with total yards allowed against the pass. The Cincy D has allowed 13 pass TD thus far this season, only behind Detroit and Arizona with 14 a piece.
