Jags coach Jack Del Rio said on his radio show Tuesday that Fred Taylor could be placed on injured reserve due to a thumb injury suffered in Week 14.
Taylor's absence would be a huge boost to Maurice Jones-Drew's playoff value with the Packers and Colts on the horizon the next two weeks. In addition to Taylor's injury, the Jags are expected to place fullback Greg Jones on injured reserve with an ankle injury. They are bringing back both Alvin Pearman and LaBrandon Toefield for workouts Wednesday.
