well manny, is beckett gonna show up and pitch well again tonight? it seems he has turned it around since the whole golf fiasco, in which i agree with josh... people blew that way out of proportion, guy can do whatever the fuck he wants.. probably sits there and studies video every other fucking day he is at the stadium so why do people get so pissed off about a guy doing something fun on his day off?? anyways, now that the rant is aside, i do feel like that situation did give josh a bode of confidence, and he has pitched much better since.. kind of like when the indians brought out becketts ex girlfriend to sing the national anthem in the 2007 ALCS in cleveland, and they were hoping it would rattle him but did not... he seems like the kind of guy that pitches well when you piss him off
sherzer and the whole detroit pitching staff with the exception of verlander is mediocre in my opinion and is half the reason they are not winning games... tigers need help with the pitching and need to get their $$$ bats going

people got bent outta shape when beckett played golf because he was supposed to be hurt and he's out there the next day golfing. then he was a total dick to the reporters 

and he played golf at a local place so he knew it was gonna be an issue but he's to arrogant to give a fuck just like half of these players.. 

see the issue with eagles player Babin?  he wants to go to spain and "run with the bulls" right before camp..   he's under contract and just signed a huge multi-million dollar deal buts wants to risk an injury or get himself killed and go run with bulls 2 months before the season starts..  total asshole
