Already drafted in my league, what do you think of this trade???

I offered Clayton Kershaw and Mike Pelfrey for Joe Nathan...

Nathan > Kershaw

I'm sure there's Pelfrey type pitchers in the free agents

I like the Nathan side

Kershaw could blow up, but I think he's still a year away. Pelfrey should have a solid season, but for Nathan, it's worth it...I hope it goes through, I could use another closer (have Broxton and Devine)

of course you want the best player (Nathan), but is the other person in need of SP where they'd want Pelfrey? AJ's right... Pelfrey is likely FA material.

If the person accepts this trade, he's either short on SP, loaded at CL or not very smart.

There will be 5 closers they get picked up by may 1 that end up with 30+ saves
you might be able to trade Pelfrey and Kershaw later for a big hitter.
Or they might have goods years

forgot to mention the most frustrating part of this, someone dropped Marmol in my league after one of his blowups and I picked him up, so I don't think I needed Nathan after all...I think Pelfrey's gonna have a big year -
