theunstoppable...hey, if you're in a slump, my advice is to relax and decrease your wagers a bit until you get back on the winning ways.  It's only September 12.  The football season is long; really really long, if you don't have a bankroll!

I wouldn't hire anybody and I'm not sure why anybody would for that matter.  Stay focused and positive and you'll turn it around.  With that, don't force anything Thursday night or Friday, there are lots of games Saturday.

    Good luck!

    Thinking about going :
    TCU under
          &
    WV - 16.5
    TCU under & -8
    Oklahoma st - 10 in a 4 pick parlay
    What do you think?
WV should e up for this game. Maryland really hasn't played anyone as of yet and has only managed to put up 57 in 2 gms this year. yes their D looks solid but look who it is against(FLINT & Vill)
TCU stops the run better than most of the def's in the nation and that is all AF can do. No threat of a pass TCU should & will load up the box and stop the run. Running = ball control = under(low scoring)
OK st has their OFF in full stride now and is playing a Troy team who couldn't do anything in the first half against the Gators. Could only score on their 3 & 4th string.

TCU seems to be the play. Who would believe that Air Force has no air attack? And I'm a AF Vet.

TCU easily for me. AF won because the Utes were missing both their starting QB & HB. They wouldn't have won that game if they were there & I took the points, Thanks again Falcons.  But this week is a different story for me.  After coming off that defeat to Texas, they'll be ready for Thurs nite regardless of the trend.  TCU's defense is sufficating. .

Primeau94 great advice!  I have been reading this thread for two years and just starting posting.  It is  a long season.  Don't fall into the bank roll trap of winning the "big one" and getting back to even.  It won't happen.  Plus scared money is lost money.

TCU is a good team and should cover.

If you want a Thursday night dog then take Maryland.

TCU is definately the pick inthis game

    • TCU 19-7 ATS last 26 overall
    • Air Force 2-8 ATS in their last 10 overall

TCU def looks good.  Grabbed the 1st half at -4.5 and will watch the game spread close for any drops.  I small buy down to -6.5 would be sweet.

Message to theunstopable. Do not hire a handicapper.I know from personal experience that all you are buying is their opinion. And when you lose three in a row of their so called guaranteed picks, they will tell you that the best of gamblers only go about 70%.. Then you have already paid them and you know you got to pay your bookie.Take a fools advice.Been there done that.

With everyone taking TCU, this might change my mind! Usually the books bring in the bread when it seems to easy! No starting RB either...wow. Might have to take MD. Look at the line! Lames don't move the line, sharps do.

Erik 202, good call on the books bringing the bread.  When lines look "out of whack", it's always a good idea to be on the house's side.  The thread for this game is eerily similar to the Eagles/Packers game from Sunday, when 90% of the posters said the Eagles will roll.

I'm stunned there isn't more support for Air Force.  AF is feeling really good about themselves after winning in Utah; no small feat.  The Falcons are at home, against a team that just saw their BCS aspirations go up in flames in demoralizing fashion.  I don't see any way TCU gets fired up for this game on the road, especially on a short week with a banged up running back.

That's why they play the games, though!

    Good luck!

As for this game, I'm thinking 8 points for a a top ten team coming off a dissapointing loss should be golden. Especially with that D, I don't see AF being able to score...

but since I'm down thinking about teasing TCU and WVU down. WVU at -10 looks really good.

Whats the scoop on AF and Maryland? Maryland QB looks hurt

NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, buy your picks from a "professional"capper!!!!!! I made that mistake once, bought a $25 dollar guaranteed winner, just for shits and giggles. Well, it lost, so i called to get another, and all they wanted to do was sell me a $3000 package of their crap. I didn't fall for it and they kept calling and trying. So what did they do? Gave my number, home and email address up, so I started getting postcards and phone calls from every wanna be capper in the world. That's when it got out of control. 20 calls a day, all hours, rude, name calling, threatening. All kinds of shit. I finally had to change my phone number, but i still get the postcards and emails, 1 year later. SO DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!! I read a thread one time that summed it up best. Can't remember who posted it. But it said something like.....if a "professional" capper was so good, then why aren't they living in Vegas, cashing in everyday? Why would they burden themselves with you? Because it's a scam, preying on people who are down on their luck.

If you need help, read what people are saying on here. There's alot of really good information from alot of really good people. Best of luck, hope you get it turned around.

10 years ago I got 1 free pick(which lost) and the guy never stopped calling. I finally told him that Id lost all my money gambling right in the middle of an expensive sex change and thought I could win enough to have my surgically installled vagina but instead I just had boobs and was going through menopause because I couldnt afford the female hormones anymore.  I told him I thought we had a connection and asked for "Franks" direct number.....he stopped calling.  This was not as simple as telling him I was going to reach through the phone and pull his tonsils out but my buddy on the ski lift nearly fell off from busting a gut.

I'm not the best person to get advice from and I'm not steering you away from purchasing professional help. I will give you some advice on how to stay out of "panic mode " and hope it well help you a bit.

    1) Money Management- Start a bankroll and discipline yourself into wagering a certain amount. You should wager only a small amount of your bankroll on any given play ranging from 1% to 5%. The larger your bankroll the smaller the percentage. Stick to this system and even if you run into a losing streak you will basically still have money in your bankroll.

    2) Winning Teams- study the games that involve winning teams. Look for winning teams that are matched up as underdogs.

    3) Losing Teams - just the opposite of winning teams. Play against losing teams as favorites.

    4) Covers threads- The best guys in the business are all right here including you. The most important thing in picking your play is to seek good and reliable information. It's all right here at your fingertips my friend look around you everyone in here has a vast amount of information for everyone and the charge is.......Free

My good deed for the day hope that helps you bro!
The rest of the guys on the thread either by passed or fell asleep reading my crap!!!  < blackjack & drJ

Keep your head up my friend there are lots more games to come. I know the feeling its very very rare that I pick the right plays. I depend on everyone else around here to help me out and without them I would have nothing.

    Thanks Guys

Aloha and good luck to all

Cant't believe so many people laying those points with TCU.  Air Force is a better play here.  I am up about 8 units for the year (my units are nickels), winning at a 65% clip with a 20-11 record.  I think Texas took a lot out of these guys last week, their RB's are banged up ( so are Air Force's but that won;t hurt them as much).  Forget size advantages, ASir Force will be too quick.  We've seen it happen many times guys.  I think AIr Force covers tonight, get oitbefore the line drops even futher, obviously the sharp money is on Air Force, get it before it dips to 7. Plus Col Jim ios on TCU, which gives me even more confidence in Air Force....Good luck all.

This is a blowout folks, plain and simple. I've looked at from every angle and here are just a few things you should know.

TCU is now 9-2 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and they are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games overall, while Air Force is 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games overall, but those are just the stats, let's get to the matchups.

Everyone is gonna be high on Air Force after they beat a limping, beat up and pathetic Utah team, including the linemaker cause this line is a joke. Last week's results give us tremendous value in the line tonight.

Let's look at the past matchups with these two teams because the last three years are a joke and completely one sided. TCU smoked Air Force by scores of 48-10 and 38-14 in the last 2 years and they are now 23-4 straight up since 2005, compared to Air Force’s 10-15 SU and 10-14 ATS over the same span.

Take a look at competition level and while TCU was taking on Texas and Baylor in their opening two games, Air Force was taking on South Carolina State and Utah.

People will look at last week's final score and think TCU wasn't competetive with #7 Texas, but for 44 minutes they were in that game, tied, until they gave the game away in the 4th quarter.

Tommy Blake and Chase Ortiz will pose huge problems for this Air Force quarterback and as soon as TCU establishes a dominant run defense, Air Force will have all kinds of problems moving the ball.

All the flyboys can do is run. They have been running more this year than any year I can remember and that's not good enough to get the job done against TCU.

Air Force has no shot of keeping this game under double digits. Play on TCU for Thursday Night !

TCU likes to jump out early in games.  I do believe that TCU can cover this game outright, but I feel stronger about the 1H play here.  TCU is coming off a loss to Texas.  TCU jumped out to an early 10-0 lead there as a dog.  Air Force barely got by a weak Utah squad in their last game.  TCU is 19-7 in their last 26 overall games.  They are well coached and have a great D.  Air Force is 2-8 ATS against their last 10 overall.  The last 2 matchups between these squads finished with 38-14 & 48-10 results - both in TCU's favor.  I like this game as a strong play here tonight.

    Prediction:  17 - 6 1H
