All I need to say about Texas' rush DEF is BAYLOR!
Buckeye's will run all over this team and their DEF and CB's are good enough to slow down and/or stop Colt all together.
For those of you who don't know...Baylor ran for over 200 yards on Texas and lost 45-21. This from a school who really doesn't have a football program. Texas scored 2 TD's in the 4th Qtr with-in 2 minutes of one another and they also got one TD off their DEF. This game was probably a little bit closer than the Final score would indicate.
Dirtydishes, could you respond to this post I made earlier? Thank you...I look forward to your response.
And the two TD's they scored with in a minute of each other were with 5 minutes left in the game.

And Griffin put up these numbers with NO DEFENSE. Prior has a GREAT defense helping him, right?

Fpronk, you stated earlier you were on the sidelines for this one...any particular reason why?
I am a huge Buckeye fan! However, I think I may have swayed myself in taking the Bucks + the points. The more research I do on Texas and the more I learn about the Big 12 and the soft, cupcake DEF they play the more I see the Buckeye's winning this game. Sure, I'm drinking the Kool Aid but I wouldn't even call this an upset if Ohio State wins.

Mighty OSU on the other hand is 1-2 vs teams in the top 30 and 0-2 vs teams ranked in the top ten. Texas went 3-1, and 1-1 respectively. Have fun buying weight watchers and kitty litter!!!

Listen to me folks...I know I am a HOMER but this is crucial information on how and why the Buckeyes cover this game. They are going to pound the ball, run trick plays, and embarrass Texas. Texas won't know what's coming and will look completely lost.

I just have a hard time with the LSU vs. OSU game last year, and then the year before that Florida vs. OSU. I know they have Prior, but I don't know if they even have the outside threats that they have had in the past. I agree it could go either way, but if all things stay the same OSU performs the same. In my opinion....trying to get to the game tonight, but not sure I wanna deal with the crowd.

Was just taking a look at the schedule of Tex.Playing the likes of OK, OK ST, Mizzou, TTech, Kansas, Baylor and Rice and ONLY allowing 19 pts per game? We SHOULD be talking about the 'Horns DEFENSE here. THAT, is impressive! Bol to us all.

Line moves from 10.5 to 8 with the public all over UT. Vegas knows something and wants you to take UT. I will wait till the line gets back closer to 10 and jump on OSU!!
I have been seeing a lot of comments like this lately...so a friendly reminder: Its not the number of people backing a side, its the number of dollars. You can have a hundred people backing TX and 1 on OHSt. if the hundred people all bet a dollar and the one bets 500 the line is going to move toward OHSt. Will look like 99% on TX and line will go down...I hope this clears up a misconception for some people...its not a conspiracy...just the sharps at work
