Although the young Texas corners have been pretty solid all season they do have me worried in this one. Pryor is moblie and may catch the Texas defense over pursuing.
 
Tough one to call but like I said I'll be cheering for a Longhorns victory anyway so I might as well invest in them.

All the OSU overs are against weak teams where OSU could run up their side of the scoreboard.  I gotta believe that ain't happening against the Longhorns.  And Texas score should be kept somewhat in check a strong Buckeye D.  So I say

Thank goodness UT dropped that interception because they have a pretty good chance of beating Ohio State, but they would have less than a 5% chance of staying with Florida.  Oklahoma has a better chance against Florida, maybe 20%, and that could give Texas a chance to get the AP #1, or will put them 2nd or 3rd if UF wins.  Texas should be glad they drew the Big 10 team. Let OU take the pounding and hope you can slip in the backdoor with a split, faux title.  I agree, Texas will be very motivated trying to prove they were wronged.  But Ohio State will equally pumped because they have been the butt of so many jokes.  Should be a very good game.  Still on Texas -8, but very light.  Close enough it could go either way with a couple of turnovers or ST plays.

Line moves from 10.5 to 8 with the public all over UT.  Vegas knows something and wants you to take UT.  I will wait till the line gets back closer to 10 and jump on OSU!!

johnnyjammer - if not for 5 turnovers in that game.. it might have been 60-0... I handicapped it with 2 turnovers and 10 points, not 5 TO's inside the 20 yard line and 20 points... and we still covered... I don't think any other team this bowl could have had 5 turnovers inside the 20 and won by 18 points.  Sharp

The line moves have been right for most of the bowl season. I lost on TT, i won with Utah.

Im going with Texas here. Ohio State has played two good defenses all year and they scored 3, and 6 points. The Texas D is just as good if not better than PSU, and slightly worse than USC. Prior is going to be a great college QB, but he isnt there yet. This is a huge stage for a freshman, i see him making more mistakes than great plays.

Mccoy will be efficient, Texas will score, Ohio State will struggle to do so.

All I need to say about Texas' rush DEF is BAYLOR!
 
Buckeye's will run all over this team and their DEF and CB's are good enough to slow down and/or stop Colt all together.
 
For those of you who don't know...Baylor ran for over 200 yards on Texas and lost 45-21. This from a school who really doesn't have a football program. Texas scored 2 TD's in the 4th Qtr with-in 2 minutes of one another and they also got one TD off their DEF. This game was probably a little bit closer than the Final score would indicate.

Fpronk if you want to talk past opponents does the poor performance against Wisconsin bother you? They have NO talent on offense and it was WAY TOO CLOSE. Wouldn't you agree? I mean WHISKY lost to MICHIGAN with a 19pt lead at half. Would you count that as a quality win? or are you going to be an apologist? And you were bragging about the win over N. Western and how they played MIZZOU close, but you failed to mention to everyone that N. Western was missing their STARTING QB AND RUNNING BACK when they played OSU. Funny how you forget that so your arguement seems better. If you respond with name calling, I will know for sure what I am dealing with. Afterall, your handle on this forum was created inspite of a certain someone that kept putting you in your place anyway, wasn't it?
