OSU scored in single digits against the two marketable DEEs they played PSU and USC. Texas was "held to 28 "once, OK ST. Just a thought.

This game will be a war!  Dont take the buckeyes lightly, they have alot to prove.  Tressel and his vest has alot of pressure to remove the "big game choke" label.
The buckeyes lost 2 games this year, the first one wasnt a good representation since they were without Beanie Wells and were still doing the QB shuffle.  Not to mention they were playing on the left coast against the best team in america.  I wouldnt take too much stock in that result.  with Beanie it would have been alot closer.  The second loss was at home to PSU.  a very close game, where the true freshman QB made a true freshman mistake.  that fumble cost them the game...  without that fumble, OSU might have made an argument to play on Thur.
Texas is a great team no question.  Their only loss to TTech and they feel since they beat OK they should be playing on thur.  I can see their point, I kind of agree with the logic, they won the head to head matchup they should be there.
As for this matchup...  Texas will win the game.  But even with their offensive firepower be careful!  OSU defense can control and slow this game down.  OSU has alot of seniors that want to end with a bowl win after the last 2 disappointments.  I think the 8 points is a little too high for this game.  I believe it will be a relatively low scoring game and Texas will win in the end, by a touchdown or less. 

So, based on this I am going to bet on OSU +8 and UNDER 52.

One thing on the OSU side. For those of us using the Big 12 being weak ( myself included ) handicapping the OSU/FLA game, why doesnt that apply here? Playing Devils Advocate I guess.
