Colt McCoy, Heisman finalist or Tyrelle Pryor. Ive got to go with the veteran in this instance. I can and will not risk my money on the unproven frosh, and seeing OSUs performances in the two games against PSU and USC I dont have any confidence in them. JMO

I'd careful with this one.

1) Negative line movement.

2) Realistically Big 12 DEFENSE is not as good this year. 

I'd take the point.

What has the SEC brought to the national title run this year really? Florida and Bama played and Florida took the game over in the second half of the 4th quarter and won which led to Florida getting into the BCS game and Bama being set up to get smoked by a WAC team. So, if not for a poorly played 7 minutes bama would have been in and well we know how they held up......Texas will win this game and OU will win the national title.

It seems as if the entire country is anti-OSU as a result of past performance.  True Tressel has disappointed in the BIG games...but when he came here the BIG game was Michigan (and always will be).  I graduated from there, I live 25 miles away from the Shoe, and pass up tickets so I can go tailgating.  I personally don't care about them; I just love to watch football. 
 
That being said, I think OSU will put up a better fight than to lose by 9.  Our offense has had plenty of time to get our timing down, and our DBs can get the job done.  TEX is strong, but OSU defense is pretty solid.  I think OSU will cover.  TOs will be the achilles heel for TEX... GLTA

Local lhas moved the number to OSU +9.  For those of you recommending following the line movment, what are you doing now that the line movement is reversing?

This will not be a let down game by either side.  Both have a tremendous amount to play for.  Texas still believes if they win convincingly and OU squeeks by UF, they will get votes as the National Champion.  McCoy is for real, the real McCoy...He will protect the ball and be patient.  I can't say the same for Pryor, a true freshman. 

Another factor is Coach Mack will bring the smack down.  This guy is a genius motivator, and a Big game coach.   I can't say the same for Tressel...

Finally, we're talking about Texas HS players here, the best in the country IMO.  This defense is underated and full of athletes. Same with special teams. 

Texas wins 31-21.  My book just moved to 53, small play on the under.

Do your own DD.  Hook em Horns.

USC beat Ohio St like a drum.....Texas would beat USC (again) and their only average offense by 2 touchdowns....And I don't want to hear anything about that PennSt shadow defense...
 
USC couldn't even muster 30 points against UCLA....

you  all have  a good point on your picks on either side..correct this is going to  be a close and great game  for both teams.its going to come down to mistakes that call the game... i like texas to win. they should  easy cover 8. shit  i would bet it when it was  10.. thats just my pick..  g.l    on everyones picks  and lets have a great game

Wow, lotsa' anger on this thread and some very strong opinions. Not a huge totals player but this game is going to take 30 + to win, and whoever loses, and I'm not betting ATS tonite, will put up at least 20. OVER 51.5.

I've already got Texas -1 to finish out a tease BIG. Now I'm waiting for it to hit 10. Then maybe go the other way. Does anyone have any thoughts on Under 26 in the 1st half. I don't think either D is getting enough credit and maybe a slow conservative start. ANY THOUGHTS?
