Also, sincerely may consider upping my total on OSU for the final from 17 to 24 points, but still believe Oregon will beat them by 17-20 points and will cover the 5 1/2 to 6.  Do believe the flaw in your comparative defense argument for the PAC 12 VS BIG 10 is that again the B10 got their lofty defensive figures from playing against much "lower octane"  teams relative to the PAC 12.  BIG 10 offenses were just not that consistently strong and therefore their defenses looked deceptively stronger.  However, statistically speaking you do give a powerful argument-we will see.  Oh!, one more thing.  Did the BIG 10 team ever beat a PAC 12 team in inter-conference play in 2014?  Go Ducks!

Every one keeps talking about Defense this defense that, there is one small variable everyone is forgetting, these guys are getting less than two weeks to prepare for each other. This is not the old days where u have over a month to prepare for each other. There is nothing ohio st can do to prepare for the hurry up offense of Oregon period. There is nothing Oregon can do to prepare for ohio st power run game period. This game will come down to who makes the fewest mistakes with turnovers and prob who has the ball last. I'm a long long time gator fan and let me tell u urban wants to light up the scoreboard every time his offense takes the field. If you wanted to see defense you saw it on the first where teams had over 3 weeks to prepare. Florida st defense in '13 was the best in the country and had a month to prepare for Aub hurry up and couldn't do it. The reason y you can't really prepare for the hurry up offenses is bc u can't mimic the pace of a team who runs it and the scout team can not give your defense a true look and the amount of reps until they see it in a game and at that point they start sucking wind and start mentally blowing assignments. Both teams are getting less than a normal BYE week ppl. FSU quit hands down when they played Oregon when the score got out of hand. This is the national championship no team will quit if they are losing handily bc both offenses have the capability to score fast and will feel they are not out of it. Expect scoring lots of it as far as who wins I will need to watch the 1st half honestly. Wish everyone well

Ohio St. beat Alabama, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan St. In my opinion, the Oregon victories this season aren't as impressive. Florida St. was not that good this year and did not belong in the field of four, so the blowout wasn't that impressive. Cardale Jones is a beast! He stepped up against the Alabama Defense and fought like a champ. Marcus Mariota already got his prize with the Heisman. The only question for me is do I take the points or go with the money line. I had Oregon to cover versus Florida St., based on the fact that the Seminoles had not seen a team that fast and multi dimensional, but today I'm going with the Buckeyes who are equally balanced and have a defense that can give up points but also provide something Oergon has not dealt with this season. Both D's are prone to getting busted up. This will be a great game, two damn good coaches and great players, not touching the total

I do give the Buckeyes the advantage here.. team that probably shouldn't even be here. US against the world mentality with Urban Meyer on your sidelines?
