I do not think Ohio State will make the errors that Florida State did yesterday so getting 7 points is a gift.

OSU looked like they were playing in slow motion after watching the Oregon game.

    Ducks by 3 TDs.

Ohio St. Will not make the mistakes Florida St did. Let's face the truth Florida St was not that good of a team and Oregon embarrassed them on National TV and showed how bad Florida St was. Ohio St. Is in a whole different league a much better team and coached well. Look what a 3rd string QB did to the #1 team in the nation, not many people picked the Buckeye's to win. You have to give the team and coaches credit when it is do. Ohio State getting 7 points is a gift, again they will be ready to play and win the National Championship.

meyer knows he won't beat the ducks in a shootout, the number on the side is right on, i will wait for the squares to keep backing the over and then take the under at 76.

^^^ Urban can win shootouts - you never reviewed what he's done before in winning national championships? I know you need to do your homework pal.

Ohio St* program is cursed.  After they stole the 2002 National Champion from the rightful owners, Miami, they will never win another title in any major sport.  Look what happened to Greg Oden, Maurice Clarett, tattoo scandal, going 12-0 in 2013 and not being allowed to play in title game, 2 QB's going down this year, and now Jim Harbaugh coming to curbstomp them for the next decade.  By far the dirtiest program full of cheaters in the NCAA and now with Urban Meyer they have the perfect leader to perpetuate the procession of criminals in Columbus as Meyer's teams always lead the NCAA in arrests every year.  He's probably out there right now trying to recruit the next Aaron Hernandez.

The cheating post is lame. They all cheat. It's part of the game. Ohio State, like others have, just got caught.
As far as the game I won't count out Urban Meyer but it's going to be tough sledding for the Ohio State D. I think the Ohio state offense will be fine against the Oregon D after what they showed against Bama. Also I doubt Ohio State will implode like FSU did in the third or quit on the game in the fourth (I don't blame FSU for quitting it was clearly not their day).
Based on that like most of you I like the over; if I had to pick a side I'd take the points.

You might want to brush up on your literacy skills mojo and reread my post.  I'm not complaining about just a little cheating.  All programs cheat a little.  I'm complaining about other stuff mostly.  But how many programs stole a national title in the last second of the game?  How many coaches lead the NCAA in players arrested year after year?  How many programs choose to go undefeated the one year they are bowl banned?

I ate my crow on the 1st. If Ohio state wants to stay in this game come 4th qtr they will have to hold it down in the trenches and the defensive line have to get a constant push and penetrate oregons backfield. The ducks tempo killed fsu. The post about tosu being cursed was classic BTW.

I have a bad feeling about my Buckeyes.... I sure hope it goes away.  Not sure 7 is enough.  Plenty of time to think this over...

    Oregon - 37                                            Ohio St - 24

    Ducks -6.5                                   under 74.5

I just think the Ducks want this more than the Bucks.

    Oregon - Under

    See you next year cappers.

I think we will see in hindsight just how loaded this Oregon team is.

    great QB

     check

    excellent RB

    check

    fast on defense

    check

    O line finally mended

    check

I can't say a back door cover by a damned good Ohio St team isn't possible. But one thing I like about Oregon is they don't get stupid with ultra conservative play calling when they are up and let the other team back into the game. Oregon -6.5

The Ohio St QB scares me.  He is big strong and fast.  Alabama had difficulties tackling him.  Watching the game at first I thought it was poor tackling but realized the QB was strong and difficult to tackle.  He will be problem for Oregon.  When Coach Meyers realized that Alabama had could not tacke his QB he called more QB runs to control the game and the clock.  The Ohio St will shorten the game with the running game and limit Oregon's possessions.  The QB is very big athletic and fast and Oregon will have problems stopping Ohio St.  Ohio St +7 and Under

Im wide awake and paying attention:
    1. this ALA team is weak, the secondary is poor,, the D-line has no pass rushers, and seemingly poor blitzing cuz they dont do it much. The o-line is young and average...
    2. The Ducks been saying there getting bigger, faster and more physical on D and they have shown it game after game despite an offense that scores at an obscene possesion time vs IMO excellent Pac-12 teams (see the bowl wins records)
    3. OSU is a fine team, but, I have to ask have they seen this kind fo speed in anyone theyve played?  How do they prepare for it?

OVER /UNDER total is inflated -IMOP.....I have had it at 71-72 is the most....74.5 or 75 in many casinos across broads........OSU will keep Oregon offense in normal pace, and I like the UNDER 75

Alabama runs a 3-4 defense. Their lineman aren't counted on to be pass rushers.Their D line is probably top 3 in the country. It's actually a better pass rushing D line than they have had in years too. Even in Alabama's 2011 record breaking defensive season they only had 30 sacks, they had 31 this year. Their D line had 4.5 sacks all year in 2011 LOL .Name 1 Alabama D lineman in the last 10 years that was good at rushing the passer? Even during their best years they were always lead in sacks by their LB's. That how a 3-4 defense works.

The secondary has been average in Bama for a while, most of the teams they played couldn't exploit it though because they couldn't throw the ball. Look at the teams like TAMU that actually could and how they fared.

The tempo Oregon plays at is definitely faster. But my guess is that OSU's skill position players are probably as fast , if not faster than Oregon's. They see players with speed in practice every day. Mariotta is definitely faster than Jones though. Oregon's fastest player Devon Allen is out too.

The Ducks D is better than usual. It still ranks 84th in total defense. If the Ducks don't get turnovers they may be in real trouble. They will not be able to stop the OSU run game without bringing someone down into the box.

The Ducks secondary is mediocre, at best.  If not for a slew of FSU turnovers (4 leading to oregon TD's) that game is far closer than the final score.  Case in point: Cal lit up Oregon for huge passing yards and I fully expect Urban Meyer to draw up plays and a system to exploit a weak secondary. +7 seems like a gift to me.

I would not use the ORE/FSU game in handicapping this game because FSU was horrible and probably made ORE look better than they really are.  FSU had at least seven turnovers and dropped a lot of passes.  FSU gave up.  ORE is probably not as good as they looked in this game.  ORE D allowed 421 yds and that was in the PAC 12.  Be careful.
