The game is played at 3:30 eastern time, that's 10:30 in hawaii, making it a 5 hour difference for hawaii, that what I was talking about, now you do the math
3:30 eastern 9:30 hawaii check your math again bud
either way game is played in MST not EST which is a 4 hour time change from hawaii. also hawaii is already in boise acclimating to the time change and altitude. they will be fine. non-factor.

this is the game of the week( at least for me) both have been very good to my wallet all year--two offences that can light it up and two very good defences---gotta go with the over if it stays under 67.5--I think however boise will win but not cover.

Replacements: Kyle Efaw, Gabe Linehan, Chandler Koch
What this means: Gallarda was the team's blocking tight end
and goalline Lynn Swann. With his injury, Efaw moves to starter, which
is a role he has been ready to embrace for the past two seasons. He is
not the blocker that Gallarda was, but he's definitely improved in that
area. Behind him sits Gabe Linehan (a pass catcher) and Chandler Koch
(a mauler). The passing game should remain the same without Gallarda.
The running game may change. Will the Broncos run more out of shotgun
and spread sets? Can Koch capably fill in on obvious run situations?
Will Dan Paul play more tight end? Quick, intern. To Yahoo Answers!
Kyle Brotzman starting pk/p
Status: Probable with a leg injury
Replacements: Jimmy Pavel, Trevor Harman
What this means: Bronco coaches expect Brotzman to handle
scoring kicks this week, and thank goodness. After seeing Jimmy Pavel's
try from 30 yards, I will never take Brotzman for granted again. Harman
will remain the kickoff specialist (if that's what you want to call it)
and the punter, and he also moved ahead of Pavel on the backup
placekicker depth chart. Depending on Brotzman's health, we may see
Boise State forced to attempt more 4th down tries this week. The Broncos
are four-for-nine on 4th down this year.
Aaron Tevis starting LB
Status: Questionable with leg injury
Replacements: J.C. Percy, Daron Mackey
What this means: The Broncos could really use Tevis's pass
defense skills against Hawaii this week. The man had a one-handed
pick-six for crying out loud. Percy did well subbing for Tevis, but he
is more of a downhill run stopper than a savvy pass defender.
Cedric Febis ST
Status: Questionable with undisclosed
Replacements: Jason Robinson
What this means: Febis's biggest contributions come on
special teams. He is a strong tackler and sound football player, and his
presence on coverage would certainly help on Saturday. Jason Robinson
is probably at the point in his game conditioning (after coming off a
suspension) where he is close to Febis's level on defense. Either player
figures to see more playing time than usual against the pass-heavy
Warriors.
Joe Kellogg starting C
Status: Questionable with leg injury
Replacements: Faraji Wright, Chuck Hayes
What this means: Kellogg was on crutches in the LaTech game,
so his injury seemed to be one of the more serious injuries to come from
that game. If he can't go, Wright may be the guy to fill in for him.
The Broncos made a point of moving Wright's name next to Kellogg's on
this week's depth chart, but Chuck Hayes (the former top Kellogg backup)
is also in the mix. And then there's this: Could Nate Potter move back
to guard? He was there almost all offseason.
Brandyn Thompson starting CB
Status: Questionable with shoulder injury
Replacement: Jerrell Gavins
What this means: Boise State has the personnel to overcome an
injury to Thompson either by subbing Jerrell Gavins or by running much
more zone D. Still, it would be ideal to have Thompson healthy for this
one.
Jeron Johnson starting S
Status: Questionable with undisclosed
Replacement: Travis Stanaway
What this means: Bronco fans had the same angst-ridden week
of will-he-or-won't-he when Johnson was injured prior to the Virginia
Tech game. So simply transfer your fears and worries from that scenario
over to this week. Hopefully Johnson is fine.
Chase Baker starting NT
Status: Questionable with undisclosed
Replacements: Ricky Tjong-A-Tjoe, J.P. Nisby
What this means: T-N-T and Old Man Nisby get plenty of
playing time as it is, so you would probably just see more of them than
usual. Baker's injury looked like one of the least serious ones to come
from the LT game, but then again, who knows. Certainly not anyone
outside of the Boise State Shroud of Secrecy, that's for sure.

I just saw this for boise:
from Kevin Lee
Tommy Gallarda starting TE
Status: Out with a broken foot
Replacements: Kyle Efaw, Gabe Linehan, Chandler Koch
What this means: Gallarda was the team's blocking tight end
and goalline Lynn Swann. With his injury, Efaw moves to starter, which
is a role he has been ready to embrace for the past two seasons. He is

As a Nevada alum and fellow WAC fan, I am looking forward to this game.
It seems that the new coach has turned it around after a few bad seasons. I would agree that Hawaii's defense is improved, and with the adoption of Nevada's Pistol Offense has a better than normal running game.
Boise only has this game and the Nevada game left to try to move up in the BCS polls.
Even though Hawaii played well against Nevada when they beat them this year, I feel that Nevada gave the game away.
Kaepernick had a TD run at the goal line that he fumbled and resulted in a touch back for Hawaii and took 7 points away from Nevada. Kaepernick also had at least one of the two interceptions he threw that was off the hands of a Nevada receiver. Nevada also did not protect the ball against a good stripping Hawaii team resulting in 2 lost fumbles for Nevada. Off four Nevada turnovers Hawaii only scored 27 points at home.
I do like Hawaii and the points, but it goes against a rule of not to be against Boise in a big game until they lose. I also am a believer in Boise in all phases of the game.
Have to lean on Boise at home

Yeah....nothing like having the breadwinner of your offense running for his life the whole game. Hawaii's defense was ball-savvy and hungry vs. Nevada. Forced fumbles, interceptions, and sacks would ruin any quarterback's day. I really don't fault Kaepernick for his statements of denial.
Time was no one thought Hawaii could ever beat BYU or Fresno St. for that matter. Now, winning against former nemises or just plain winning on the road are pretty much run-of-the-mill. I would be careful to use the "Hawaii has never won @ Boise" rule when placing your bets.

I would love the Warriors to win this one SU but unfortunately it would be tough as hell for these guys to do it. oahuboy stated earlier about the days we had Brennan, Chang, etc basically a lot more talent than this Warrior team. So it would be hard to believe that this team could do it but you never know anything can happen.
The Warriors of the past didn't really have a running game and I'm not saying the Warriors have one now but we do have a back in Alex Green that can break some big runs if given the chance. He has also been effective in catching passes out the back field. Moniz is pretty good with his feet as well when he needs to bring the ball down and run...he rarely does it but he is also effective in that aspect.
If the Warriors can get the running game going to establish the passing game the Warriors should be able to keep this within the number...would love them to win SU but would be happy if they kept it a game til the end.
Boise St should be up for this game as they play at home on the smurf turf in their final WAC rival game against the Warriors.
The Warriors been on a roll on the road and at home so I'm hoping they keep on rolling through Boise St.
Aloha
The biggest difference for this team is Alex Green. We haven't had a back that could punch it in from first and goal from the 5 yard line since Nate. This makes a big difference for our team. It use to be once we are in the red zone its hard for us to score because we ran out of field to pass. Now this isn't a problem anymore. Also our defense causes turnovers. This is a big deal since we lead the nation i believe in the +turnover category

Hawaii has been covering for me all year. Reminds me of the old Colt Brennan/Timmy Chang days. Taking the +21 as an early Christmas gift. Mele Kalikimaka!

Maybe I did not convey my thoughts properly. Hawaii did a great job against Nevada's offense no doubt. However Nevada IMO thought they were a BCS title contender instead of playing with a chip on their shoulder. The game before they looked sluggish, and did not wake up until the 4th quarter against Hawaii. Kap still gave away 7 points on the stupid fumble at the goal line, and two interceptions were off the hands of his receivers. If Hawaii could only score 27 points at home v. Nevada with 4 takeaways, how are they going to score against Boise in Boise? All the breaks went Hawaii's way v. Nevada, but I do not see that happening in Boise.

Hawaii better not get caught with their pants down on special teams again like previous years. I feel that Boise St.'s special teams is a big difference in most of their games..think about it, they block kicks/punts, go for it on 4th downs with some unreal play calls. once boise gets their big plays momentum is on their side, look at La Tech's game..pretty close until La Tech crapped their pants and forgot how to play football. If Hawaii can stay alert for Boise's trickery we should be able to keep it w/in 21 points. Hoping this will be an up-n-up game to show Hawaii can hang with teams "getting" respect.

That is a huge amount of points for a much improved Hawaii team who has played well overall on the road, but IMO vegas is trying to get the public on Hawaii.
Should be a great game either way.

Let's discuss it.. I won 5K on that game... that's probably the least happy I've ever been about winning 5K... I felt sorry for Hawaii.
I lost about 100k on that game
It was absolutely disgraceful. Set back the clock for all the mid major teams about 5 years. I think we would have seen a mid major in a championship game by now if it wasn't for that utter massacre that occurred in that game.
that is 100k colombian pesos. about $50

unbelievable how this game is completely flying under the radar this week. I love it. Avg Joe is going to bet Boise like they do every week. Make no mistake. Vegas knows full well this line should be lower but they are trying to protect themselves from the huge amount of parlays and teasers and you name it that the public will have this game staked on it.
People have absolutely no idea that hawaii is 7-2 or that they are the #1 pass offense in the league. That hawaii with a win basically wraps up a WAC championship.
Rainbow Warriors. Lets shock the world.
You know the really sad part is if Hawaii wins no one will say "gee hawaii must be pretty good" all they will say is "gee guess boise really isn't that good"
