Hawaii seems like the play... they're playing like the team who made it to a BCS bowl game a few years back (and got Smashed by Georgia)

public isn't betting yet.   you average better hasn't even looked at this week's card yet.   they are still commiserating with their co-workers around the water cooler on how in the world the game last night didn't go over.  

that is why it is on hawaii early.   this will be over 60% boise by gametime.  that is sharp money moving the line down. 

anyway I think this game could go either way but I just feel there is a good chance Hawaii shows up for this one this year.

Let's discuss it.. I won 5K on that game... that's probably the least happy I've ever been about winning 5K... I felt sorry for Hawaii.

 I have dug up some stats that may interest you. Hawaii Warriors are the last team to beat Boise in regular season back in 2007. They have definitely been on a roll and it doesn't seem as if they are going to stop as they are rated the nations #1 passing team. Defense has been practicing on a faster tempo as that is how Boise runs their offense. Hawaii has let 30 points scored only twice this season and 17 last 2 games. Not many teams can say that.
They do not have a long road trip before this game which will definitely help any jet lag. No matter what anyone says about traveling, it doesn't get harder for anyone as it is for Hawaii. We have to travel over water and shortest flight to anywhere outside of the islands is 5 hours. Road trips definitely took it's toll on the Colorado game.

Well prepared for a high powered offense with minimum injury Hawaii will cover and has a good if not much better chance than most of Boise's last opponent's. V-Tech lost by 3 points and I am confident that Hawaii is better than V-Tech. Definitely much better passing game. This will be a very tough game for Boise and if anyone thinks that they are gonna get rolled is out of their mind or may not have watched any of the Warriors games. Hoping the latter. I will play large on the points plus the over being that they are playing on turf. If Hawaii gets off gunning and pulls ahead, Bronco's will start getting desperate and that will lead to more mistakes. Boise is very disciplined on both sides of the ball but so is Hawaii. Defense for the Warriors will be pumped knowing that this could be their biggest challenge all year. To pull off an upset will be remembered for a very long time.

I'm glad you say no way Hawaii can't beat them.  Their defense has been solid (which is something new).  They will be the fastest team Boise has played in a while.  This isn't La Tech or San Jose.  If you don't think Hawaii will be up for this game, you will be in for a surprise.  Small moneyline on Hawaii and large on cover.

4 days is plenty.  we are only talking a 4 hour time change.
   5 hour time difference, game is at 3:30 eastern time, and to think that this is not an advantage to an already superior boise team is crazy. hawaii has been good to me this year and they are playing very good and I am tempted to take them+21, but I have a couple of rules when it comes to gambling and one of them is to never bet against boise state a home, I do like the over 65 in this one, boise will put up 45 at home and hawaii should be able to score at least 21

so of those 20 games how many needed the points to be a winner?

the point of the 17-10 tcu game was to look at the total points scored which was low.    98% of bets on the over but it has only moved a half a point up?   be careful with the total.

I would love the Warriors to win this one SU but unfortunately it would be tough as hell for these guys to do it. oahuboy stated earlier about the days we had Brennan, Chang, etc basically a lot more talent than this Warrior team. So it would be hard to believe that this team could do it but you never know anything can happen.

The Warriors of the past didn't really have a running game and I'm not saying the Warriors have one now but we do have a back in Alex Green that can break some big runs if given the chance. He has also been effective in catching passes out the back field. Moniz is pretty good with his feet as well when he needs to bring the ball down and run...he rarely does it but he is also effective in that aspect.

If the Warriors can get the running game going to establish the passing game the Warriors should be able to keep this within the number...would love them to win SU but would be happy if they kept it a game til the end.

Boise St should be up for this game as they play at home on the smurf turf in their final WAC rival game against the Warriors.

The Warriors been on a roll on the road and at home so I'm hoping they keep on rolling through Boise St.

If Phan , Oahu Boy, Pickyboy 808, Sharp , and Big Daddy are on this, I don't feel that there is any homerism involved. The Warriors are THAT good this season. By my figures Boise is 16-17  points better. If Hawaii really shows up, then I like their chances!

If Hawaii can keep Boise to about 10 points and score 7 every quarter...I think Hawaii covers 21.  Then again if Boise takes the early lead and put in their secondaries, then Hawaii may backdoor cover as well.

A few misconception to consider on the trends here....

*Hawaii's defense is the best I've seen in some time.  It has made the difference in the o/u and games.

*Hawaii's running game is lights-out the best I've seen in some time.

*Game planning on D and O are handled by defensive coordinators.  I have not ever seen that by Hawaii.

I would seriously consider Hawaii for the money line, and strongly advise Hawaii ATI (just look at the ati this season.)  The latest trend has been for the under.  Can both Hawaii and BSU score 33+ points?  I would advise for the under here.

Either way, we call this gambling...not collecting money.  Make your decisions with your mind and not your heart.
