Miami struggled against FSU's passing game, but stuffed their run attack. Bad news for Tech, all they do is run and that Miami d-line is stout. Taking the Canes here, still don't trust Tech this year( I was on Clemson )

I don't like this game......flip a coin here.......I have been very sloppy in my capping coming out of the gate.........way to many heavy chalk games........playing too many games every day........I'm am going back to the some of my favorite plays.  Fading one of the top three public plays every day, looking for 2-6pt favs to cover and 7 pt+ dogs, especially home dogs to cover.  Always closely considering the lowest total and going over as well as the highest total and going over. 
 
As for this game, GT has the trends, arguably the better coach and certainly the better run game......but the Caines D is improved and the QB play and balanced attack by the Caines should keep them in the game........no blow out here folks. 
 
Hence, I'm on the sidelines here......GL all.

Florida State doesn't run the spread option so that comparison is invalid.  GL to you though

GT has won and covered the last 4 seasons 2 at home and 2 at Miami.
 
GT also won and covered against FSU last season by about the same margine that Miami did last week.

I was leaning GA TECH earlier today. Currently a no play. What is the total?

road dogs were nice last week (HOU, UCLA, SOUTH CAROLINA, OHIO STATE)  even in the NFL...DEN and NYJ....

God I've been getting hammered on favorites early this season (like a true sucker), and getting paid on dogs.  While that has absolutely nothing to do with this game, I'm going Tech plus the points (probably closer to game time for the best line).  I don't see Miami playing like they did last week.

I was all set to bet on my team, but I figured for sure they would be the underdog.  GT has had their number over the past few, and Miami has shown an inability to stop the Jackets running game.

We looked damn good vs. FSU.......but FSU doesn't run the ball like GT does.

No play for me.......but the Yellow Jackets do seem to be a value pick at + 4

Miami and the Over are the plays here.  NO If's, and's, or but's about it.

Miami has a hugh advantage at the qb position. Miami is going to stack the line to stop the tech running game knowing that the Tech Qb can't hurt them as much.  Having said that, Canes win this game by 14 to 17 pts

This Clemson game has got me totally flummoxed.  Did Tech let up after having it all come so easily in the beginning?  Or did they win just due to three lucky plays?  Miami having two weeks to prepare for the option has me thinking Miami.  Jacory Harris appears to be for real and I have a feeling those two QB's transferred out since they knew they weren't going to see the field for a long time with the sophomore Harris coming into his own.  Miami has some skill players to match up with Mr. Dwyer.  Miami didn't have much trouble with the FSU run, it was the pass that hurt them and GT is lacking there.  Going Miami.

The number has jump to -5.5, Still waiting to pull the trigger on G Tech.Over should be a good bet as well.

Right now Vegas hanging in at mostly -4.5 but offshore guys up to -5.5 with some -6 sprinkled in.  Those guys are jittery so maybe one of them got hit big on Miami.

One thing i have learned...
 
When a lot of money comes in on one team to move the line like this, Miami (-4 to -5.5) you take GT
 
I cant figure out why GT is getting no respect...They beat Clemson, and in my opinion had they kept trying to score, they would have covered... 
 
I dont know who I am going to take, but right now I am Leaning towards GT

the line goes from 4.5 to 5.5 because a lot of that money is coming in on miami. if more money starts coming on gt and the line continues to move to 6 or 6.5 go miami.

Liking Tech +5 1/2, U generally not a good HF 4-11 last 15 between 3 and 15 pt spreads.

One thing I have learned from betting on football for over 5 years now is that you should not really put too much into line movements. I never bet on a game just because of line movement. With the being said I am on MIAMI -5.5 this game. The will stack the box and slow down the option. GT will not score on the big plays that helped them against Clemson. Miami also has not played since last Monday so they will have a lot of time to prepare.

Yellow Jackets + 5.5              under 53.5
Jackets have enough offense to put points on the board. Take the generous points the Canes are giving.
 
Techsters have the Canes number, why buck the trend in this one.

I’m going against my first thoughts after the UM FS game last week. A good triple option team is a killer and if you "box it" you’re exposed in the mid and down field areas. I’m taking GT with a generous 5.5 pts.

What bothers me is the #13 team is GETTING 5'-6 pts here from a "still rebuilding " 'Canes team. WHY??? Is it because 'Canes are a public fav or something up? Dont know, either a No Play or just a Total play. Most likely over, for the same reasons a Clemson Off, that wasnt supposed to be good offensively early on, put up 30 and a "re tooling" Miami DEE that got shredded by an "average" FSU O Unit.  Plus it will be hot and sticky, Dees get tired faster. Thinking about that CLEM/Ga Tech game, Tech scored the majority of their scores on uncommon plays(long run on the 1st play, punt return, and fake fg/pass for a TD). Other then that the speed of the Clemson defense, especially that of the d-line, contained the Tech run too a point and shut down the inefficient pass. This made it difficult for Tech to finish drives- letting Clemson right back into the game.
Will MIA have the speed to stifle Tech enough to not let them finish drives as Clemson did for the last 3/4 of their game?
I do feel that MIA will be able to move the ball through the air on offense. 
I am reversing my early lean and going with a MIA and the Under play on this one.
Will still wait to put in to watch the line.
