GT 1st lean... GT has won the last 4 and is 10-3 last 13 in this series.  Miami couldn't contain the option last year, but I expect a closer game this year.. I think GT wins this one outright.. not a bad ML play either.  GT + 4.5 1st lean.  Sharp

Leaning on G Tech as well, best to wait till game time might get better number then. Miami is out for revenge from last year.

already locked in tech +4.5 - I expect a close game, but as evidenced by tech's last game, if they cannot run the ball, they sure as hell are not going to win many games passing..nezbitt is the worst passing qb I have seen in a long, long time, but at the same time, miami giving up all those points to FSU (who is very mediocre imo), shows that tech can and will move the ball on them..

Have to be wary of Canes after seeing the Seminole performace on Saturday.....
 
Look for a close game in the 30s with Jackets covering and Over the play.....

My lean is on Miami here. I was just to impressed with them on Monday against Florida State. Now there home on National TV against tech. Much more research to do but initial lean on Miami

Leaning GTech if they stick to the TripOpt.

I am anxious to see if Miami is faking it right now.  They could be very good, but FSU D has been awful so far.

FIRST OF ALL. DOGS APPLY ON THURSDAYS WHEN THEY ARE AT HOME. SECONDLY, THERE ARE NO TRENDS ANYWHERE THAT SUPPORT A CANES PLAY HERE. THAT BEING SAID, CANES -4.5 IS THE PLAY. THEIR BIG RECIEVERS WILL HAVE THEIR WAY AND THEY HAVE THE LATERAL SPEED TO CONTAIN THE OPTION. CANES -7.5

Tough game to call. Miami playing this one at home coming off a huge road win against rival FSU. G Tech coming off a huge come from behind victory over Clemson (I took Clemson ).....
 
I was thinking about taking G tech in the first half since they pounded on Clemson early but Miami had more time to prepare and rest for this game.

I base a lot of my picks on the QB's and in this case there is no comparison.  Miami has the huge edge in this department, I'll take Miami -41/2 in their opening home game

i can't see any reason why the over isn't the play of the week.. 

miami has a nice balanced attack..  finally..  and gtech is no stranger to scoring points...

miami was giving up points by the bucketfull against fsu..  granted, i like fsu's offense better than gtechs, but there are gonna be some points scored on saturday in miami...

leaning towards the canes...  might tease canes/over

BigDaddy, what's happenin' buddy?  BOL this year my friend.  Finally found a thread with you in it.   I am leaning on GT but this is a tough one.  Miami looks better this year and they're at home....
