Wow..I was thinking WVU -3 on this one...everyone else seems to like Auburn. Auburn has sucked all year, granted so has WVU. If Pat White is back and playing, I think WVU takes care of business and wins by 7+
Considering your a BAMA fan I would have to say you are probably one sided.

Go Auburn!(Never thought I'd say that in my life!!)
I feel ya Dog!
I hear ya.. I hate rooting for Auburn, Florida, and LSU, etc... And it sucks cuz I live in Illinois, and cant watch the Dawgs play unless theyre on CBS... but this weekend my brothers and I are going down to Baton Rouge to watch the Dawgs take care of buiness down there on Saturday(sitting the farthest away seats possible BUT THEYLL BE IN THE STUDENT SECTION which will be nice to celebrate a win with those guys, haha. Somehow, the dawgs are the underdawg for that game, even though their defense and offense is remotely better than LSU's. I'm going pretty big on the dawgs+2 at LSU. I'll try to get an inside vibe from LSU students and try to get some info posted on here on Friday/Saturday morning...Hopefully, Auburn can take care of business tomorrow night so I can let it ride on UGA!!! Good luck to you sir, and GO DAWGS!
CANT WAIT FOR NOV.1st!!! LARGEST COCKTAIL PARTY!!!

What? I get 3 points too? Yes, give me Auburn to the limit. Remember the bumbling time management and cluelessness WV displayed in that big game against Colorado? More Auburn please.

Auburn has won 16 of its last 18 games when wearing all white uniforms. (Dont let this fool you, since UGA loss when they "Blacked Out"...but its still something to think about)
Thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
The white uniforms has nothing to do with the color, it is more about Auburn being a GOOD road team, especially on big stages. White is their default AWAY color, nothing special.
If you're going to spit venom at every post that goes against your pick, why not back up your pick with some ACTUAL INFO instead of just being a waste of space?

This line actually reminds me of the Monday Night Football line. Everyone thought DENVER +3 was such an easy bet. Reading through the thread here, everyone seems to be on Auburn. Auburn has played 2 road games and has scored 16 points. They beat Miss St. 3 -2 and then lost to Vandy 13 - 14. Then, to top it off the just got beat at home by a medicore Arkansas team. Miss St beat Vandy 17 -14.
When looking at this game your intial thought would be to
Auburn. But after I did some analytics on the two teams I am leaning towards WV to win but not sure the can cover the +3.5 BetEd is posting. If, and yes I said IF, Patrick White is able to run the ball and spread the field he should be able to pass to Jock Sanders and the two should put up some points.
WV hasn't scored more than 27 points against a lined team in 08' and is averaging just under 23 points a game at home, this is minus the 48 they put up on Nova at home.
Auburn is averaging 8 points on the road and 19 overall. Morgantown is a difficult place to play and this game should be close to the O/U of 38.
Right now I see the score some where around 20 - 17 WV but I'm going to hold off on making a final call until tomorrow.

Hmmm....73/69% on Aub so far.If this trend continues I would be hesistant myself. Are u folks aware one of the best cappers-hitting around 70%-on this site is on WVU ? Leaning WVU....unpopular home favs quite tempting.
And who is this mystery capper? I know a guy hitting 80% of games and he is betting the Mountianeer mascot is gay.

West Virginia does very well on the 3rd Saturday in Octobers when they are at home under a full moon and the temperature is cool. I dont know if you guys knew that or not, but it's good info.

My initial reaction was Aub +3, how can you go wrong, SEC, strong D, WV playing so shitty with new HC. But digging into it a little more I am not so sure now. The line has moved from 3.5 to 3 but Aub has 61% of the public support per insight.com and it looks like everyone here likes Aub.
WV has a good kicker that can put 3 points on the board everytime WV moves into Aub territory (7 of 8 with a 52 long). However, WV let syracuse stay in the game. WTF? Sim shows WV winning by 6.5, but those numbers are probablly skewed due to a weak schedule that WV has played.
Pretty tricky, so I am going with my "scary pick system" and "fade the public" system. They both point to WV. But do i really want to put my hard earned money on WV that couldn't come close to covering against Syr? or Rutgers?
WV +3, and hope for the best.

T, I am leaving tomorrow morning for the Ga. Lsu game....have a business in baton rouge and 4 season tickets for entertaining clients and me on big huge games like this one. There won't be anything but red clad Dogs in these 4 seats this game. from the Ga. section with our band, look to your left on the LSU sideline on about the goal line about 40 rows up....You will see 4 red blurs amongst a lot of gold. I pull for LSU against everybody, but Georgia. Gives me two chances every year to beat Auburn since the Dogs and LSU play them every year...gives me two chances to lose too, but think I will go 2-0 against auburn this year. I know that stadium and the coolest tail gaters real well...if any of them offer you fried gator, try it....very very good. can't go wrong with any home made jambalaya either. the LSU fans are great outside the stadium to opposing fans and will offer you there whiskey and their food, but inside they want a pint of your blood and your first born and a win! they take their pigskin very very seriously. u flying into MSY or BTR? I am going early to make it a business trip ha ha (live in Georgia) and in time to watch the Auburn game with some buddies and do some serious eating on Friday.
peace, m. pie

The line almost makes it so attractive to take Aub + the ML.
Don't put too much stock in the history of these teams, aub is not the same team from previous years, they have injuries and personnel changes very recently. They are on a downswing. After starting poorly it seems WVA is on the upswing, they are sitting on a 4-2 records which is still pretty good. I think aub gets ambushed here. Will wait to see if line goes down more and will just on WVA in this spot.
