Mac, in all due respect, it’s really not about politics…Trump was a distraction, for a slight home fave….i think New York will be focussed tonight…and TCB…I also think San Antonio will win game 5…

@LonghornHoosier
I totally agree. It isn't about politics. It's about the freak show that occurred before the game. Many people arrived late to their seats because of the security. Things will be back to normal tonight. You had Steven A. Smith begging Trump not to come. You had Spike Lee wearing a T-shirt that was anti-Trump. You don't think the players hear and see this on ESPN? I'm not saying this is why they lost. I'm saying it was a distraction.

@River_fish
Yeah , I agree with this. The whole thing is one big distraction... to both teams and regardless of who's president ... doesn't seem right with how many years Knicks fans have been waiting for this moment. Hopefully , tonight we can just move on from it and get to basketball and Zarba refs a fair game both ways.

This is just stupid. Your analogy points to a Spurs win every time Trump attends their game. What a dumb juxtaposition. If we play with your analogy, the Spurs as a franchise is one of the most vocal anti Trump franchises in the NBA. Wemby abhor his immigration policies and Coach Pop has been blatant that he didnt like the man. Knicks kept on foul checking the Spurs the 2nd half that game and Wemby showed he isnt afraid to get physical. I would say the Knicks got manhandled in their own court and instead of being accountable for their live turn overs and unnecessary fouling they blame the refs.

He was not a big factor really, FH Knicks were up 7 and by the 4th 1/4 when they starting losing he was gone, your giving him to much credit. Now if you said he ruined it for the fans of course but game was good.

Not gonna lie I hope he will attend a NBA match when he decides to meet his maker - so that event is televised for the whole world to see and for easy replays etc
- and NBA is pretty much the only American sport I can get through without a wish of doing self harm
