bookie- now I can respect that analysis. I can concede to the fact that Oregon St may be a tough place to play. In no way am I saying the Wisky is easy money this game. All Im saying is that this is a Wisky team that some peoiple have as a dark horse to get to the Championship (which is a stretch IMO), but they do have a heisman candidate in Montee Ball who has personally said that he will play better then he did last week this Sat. Danny Obrien played a good game, being accurate going for 19-23 200+ yrds 0 INTs. All Im saying is that OSU should have first game jitters and this could quite possibly get ugly fast if they fall behind quick and turn the ball over early and often which is quite possible IMO being this is their first game. Im sure that last week was a learning experience for these guys.
Wiskys OL averages 321 lbs and OSUs DL weighs about 272 lbs on average. This is one of the biggest mismatches I see for this game. Wisky should be able to run the ball basically at will in this one IMHO. Mannion threw 18 INTs last yr 1.5 per game average. If Wisky can limit their turnovers its gonna be tough for OSU to win this one.
No such thing as easy money especially when you're talking road chalk. However, in this OSU opener, being that WIsky should be a tad bit more polished, its in my opinion that Wisky wont get upsetted here. Its also my op that a DD win here is likely unless Obrien stinks it up and Montee Ball gets stopped at the point of attack. But their OL IMO will dominate the trenches and open holes up for Montee to run. Anything can happen in college football and if OSU beats wisky then I will take the L with a smile on my face. But I think these Wisky boys know what they're getting themselves into and if they lose this game then that says a lot about this team, coach, and the Big 10

*Wisky didn't run 'at will ' last year at home......Beavs wore down as they couldn't move ball on offense *20 FD...208 rushing...4.8/rush not really a severe thrashing......
to get starters....gotta go to each team's official web site....usually game day notes .....and then updated weights.....from the roster on that web site (mag rosters are from the spring) .... *#'s are rounded
Wisky goes 325 or so.....Beavs 295 or so *better viewed this way....
Wisky C-LG-RG (330-320-320) vs OSU DT's (290-355) and MLB (250)
Wisky RT-LT (340-320) vs OSU DE's (265-265) and OLB (220-225)
OSU DB's not small
CB > 6-0/190.......5-10/190 FS > 6-3/215 SS > 6-1/215
Wisky enjoying less of a size advantage than they will for most of their games.....but agreed they are huge
It is better to be feared - than to be loved.
