    Seriously WTF

I read earlier that something like 4 Jurors have connections to Penn ST in the Sandusky Trial

What is going on in PA ????

They already swept this under the rug for years and enabled more Child rape .....

well double 1st off sandusky is going to prison and will burn in hell when he dies

2nd off they have Penn St tied people there so they can punish him for paterno  getting firedThose jurors could give 2 shits and a holler about the kids its about penn state football. There are people there that said when it broke what about football. Who gives a fuck! Those men that are testifing their lives are destroyed. And there are 100's more that will never say a word.

To the people in state college the trial from a decent amount of people's views is to make him pay for paterno. What a mess what a disgrace. I should be a juror guilty next!!!!!!!!

another dumb statement, you have no idea what you are talking about Dumb Up 4 Life.

Most anyone that lives in that town or has a Penn State connection on the jury wants to see Sandusky fry for what he did to the local kids there and the shame he brought the university and negative spotlight.

It is more likely that a juror from Penn State will fry the bastard or want to more than someone like yourself believe it or not, so your statements are pure ignorance and just another attempt to take a shot at one of the greatest universities in the world that you stood no chance of ever being accepted to.

WeAre nation will see Jerry rot in hell in jail as we all want for justice for the kids.  Schultz and Spanier will as well.

McQueary defended Paterno's actions yesterday on the stand too, looks like Joe was not part of the mass cover up you said he was.  He called Schultz basically "the district attorney of penn state" at the time and "without a doubt the man in charge of the police" and Joe and Mike told him what they knew.

Top 12 recruiting class for 2013, ESPN #1 QB, #1 Tight End in nation and more to follow.  Amazing how strong the PSU nation is bouncing back

Penn State will be just fine, the coach who has not coached there in 14 years will rot in jail for what he did and he is not at all relevant to any kid making a decision to come to penn state.  Most players dont even know who this guy Sandusky guy was.  And hopefully Schultz and Spanier will as well if they were guilty of covering this up and having secret files kept to themselves ONLY (not Paterno or anyone else)

It takes 3 men to try to bring down a nation
It takes a nation to stand up for justice and get back whats theirs.

    WeAre Nation, stronger than ever!!

Packers you are a fool too, you have no idea the pulse of the people there or what that community is like.

Half of State College loves penn state more than anything in the world.

Half of State College cannot stand penn state.

A decent percentage of PSU students as well cannot stand the football team or give a damn about their successes.

Its weird, but its a fact and the way it is their.  You have no idea really so you should stop making assumptions of these jurors and how they will interpret things until after the case and stop the thinking the everyone in State College supports a child molester for the sake of a football program.  Completely baseless and ignorant.

    1. You have to be joking...McQueary told JoePa after the shower incident, and we're NOW just hearing about it....this all could have been taken care of years ago, but JoePa didn't take the necessary action. He has a history of one of the best coaches ever, but hearing the excuse "he didn't know how to use email" (yes, it's true) is plain crazy. Going to the right authorities (not the campus police) is also the logical thing to do.

    2. Somehow this is true, their recruiting class is very strong for the situation they're in. I applaud their coaches efforts to continue bringing strong classes in like years past. With that said, after the mess (trial) is done, and the cover-up unfolds, don't be surprised to see de-commits along with kids taking PSU out of their top choice(s). There have been 1-2 victims so far....and there are more, this isn't even close to being over.

Any human being who has a brain will convict Sandusky without hesitation. What's sad about this juror selection? When the trial first started and Sandusky came into the courtroom, one of the jurors smiled at him (Fact). That can go either way, but some of PSU nation is brainwashed, and is in total denial, STILL, of this situation.

This isn't free shoes, payments, or even tattoos....this is sickening and anyone affiliated (yes, even Sandusky's wife) should be punished.

Again, someone with not a clue of what they are talking about.  Joe made sure Schultz knew of the action that McQueary saw.  The campus police are the only police force with jurisdiction on campus, please do your research.  Schultz was in charge of that and Mcqueary reiterated that point yesterday.  The police knew, the right police knew, the chief of police knew, and he did nothing.  Joe cant police the town too.  He thought it was handled, for that he was wrong. As far as emails, yeah joe did not use emails and dont forget this was 2001 when it was not such a social world.  Gonzaga coach Mark Few does not email, tweet or anything either, doesnt make him a bad person, just makes him old school.  My dad is 62, he has never emailed in his life, Joe was 75+ at the time.

Aw shaw!!!!!  Follow Adam Brenneman and Christian Hackenberg on twitter and tell me for one second they are leaving.  There may be decommits, but not anymore than any other school, and not because of Sandusky who they dont even know existed if not for this and has not coached there in 14 years or because of a couple of old bags in administration who have since been fired.  BOB has them now, its a New Era, the kids like Ross Douglas, Hack and Adam preach this all the time on twitter.  They dont care about this at all.  In fact, Ohio State has had more decommits than PSU so far.  And the reason?  Cmon now, its because they had a sexual offender from twitter hanging around their recruits and posing in pictures with them.  See Alex Anzalone.

Should we interpret what that smile means??  I have smiled at people before i scored on them, fought them or wanted to bang them...what does a smile like that mean?  Who knows.  But its not Penn State's fault if there is a jury not to your liking.  In court, lawyers have a jury selection and the courts ruled where this trial will be held, not penn state university.

This isn't free shoes, payments, or even tattoos....this is sickening and anyone affiliated (yes, even Sandusky's wife) should be punished.

too vague, agreed those responsible should be punished, but not anyone affiliated with sandusky or his charitable stuff.  there were actually some very good people involved who had no idea.  kind of like at ohio state when a sex pred was running around recruits, some good people had no idea that the guy was a sex pred.

Jim Boeheims laughing at all of this, what a skate job he and Bernie Fine got eh?  Those damn statute of limitations, and Fine sat next to Jimmy Boy until this year on the bench while Sandusky had not coached a game at PSU in 14 years.

But this trial is back page news if that, its really not that relevant anywhere but in pennsylvania these days.  It did not blow up like you all thought it would.  The storm is over, the calm is coming back and PSU will prevail because the university is greater than anyone 1, 2, 3, or 4 scumbags.

    sorry haters

again packers, you make no sense.  paterno got fired, he was almost fired numerous times by these three men charged, he did not like them, he fought them, and he ended up being fired anyway.

he answers to people, he does not own the university and your interpretation of his power is just.....inaccurate.

cherokee...no one talks about the trial in michigan at all......espn does not feature it at all, only a handful of people like dan wetzel, who may have cost himself a career by suggesting bill obrien was an assistant coach in the shower once with sandusky and a boy (even though this is impossible as BOB was never an assistant) Wetzel later apologized bring it up.

Its not the leading news one would have thought though thats for sure, its not viewable on tv, and the storm that happened in november has way passed over.  its all rhetoric at this point, same stuff we heard and heard.

guess i am confused whether you mean the trial or the school.  see the university itself, athletics aside, can really stand alone as research and charitable contributions have been the best in the world.

THON (charitable dance party for cancer research) set another world record this year after this scandal.  PSU had the greatest turnout of any university for Special Olympics after the scandal, which was started by the Paternos.

PSU researchers found the best possible cure for leukemia yet, in the world.

PSU won the title for best academic school of all bcs eligible football teams.

PSU just had 35 kids on football team with a 3.0 gpa or greater for spring semester, with 17 on the deans list.

PSU so far has had its best football recruiting class in 5 years landing the aforementioned blue chips.

This is where confusion sets in and you get angrier that penn state will not be tarnished because of 3 or 4 jackasses, including one sick bastard who was not employed by the school for 14 years.

Penn State will be just fine, the coach who has not coached there in 14 years wi
ll rot in jail for what he did and he is not at all relevant to any kid making a decision to come to penn state.

Wait didn't this sick university cover up Jerry's actions

How Much money did Joe Pa donate to second Mile ???

How many More Kids were molested because WE ARE nation swept this under the Rug

    Sick,Sick, Sick

makes zero sense, perhaps golden will be a better coach but hard to imagine anyone doing more considering than what Billy has been able to do in such a short period of time.  And not many men more classy and intelligent.  TIme will tell on the coach, wayyyy too early, but to say Al Golden would have done more in restoration of a program is inaccurate and again, speculative.
