I'm not frustrated at all bro, my personality can seem edgy at times, I just let it rip when I post, if we were drinking a beer in Vegas I'd still tell you that Auburn's offense sucks so it is my real personality, I was raised in the school of "telling it like it is", that's how we rolled in my family, best of luck to you as well

7 points is just too many for a team that can score the ball like cal right? Am I crazy for wanting the + on this game?
Sdsu didn't run or throw for any amazing # vs fcs NH, however I understand they're run game and defense is serious. 35-7 last year at cal. Thoughts?
Same out score angel thoughts on Tech and Washst.
San Diego St isn't usually a quick starter early in a season and Cal seems to be better early in the year, the Aztecs will get going later and Cal will most likely lose steam, at this time and this line I lean Cal, just a lean though, need to look it over, trying to get there but lots of games on the board that catch my attention this week, from a matchup perspective this week isn't as fun but from a gambling perspective I see several bad lines

Fwiw, I agree with you, I follow AU closer than any other team and knew coming into the season that AU's D would be good, kicker good, but the quarterback play is awful. What worried me more was Clemsons relatively rebuilt line absolutely manhandling AU Oline.
I believe Gus's seat is already warm and while some coaches respond well to admin pressure I felt like Gus went into full blown panic mode trying anything and everything Saturday. I really think that the loser of LSU Auburn in a few weeks is going to be the HC that loses their job for sure this year.

Good stuff. Can't disagree with any. I hear Herman's wife doesn't want to leave Houston, and I assume there's some dough (perhaps yours) behind the Cougar program, so maybe that won't be so easy. Always liked them, for no other reason than that they played in the Astrodome when I was a kid. Briles is not hireable at any real college, sadly. Maybe we can get Saban back.
Looks like a good week to tread easy. Hit the EWU and UR money lines last week, which lessened the sting of the CU loss. Have to bet Purdue on principle this week, as I don't know how any team can play a road game against an ok team on a Saturday, with UH looming on Thursday. Just an awful spot. If they beat me, they beat me. UL is in a similar spot, though FSU rolls into the Ville on Saturday.

And I don't blame Bronco for Saturday's alleged debacle. That's the culmination of years of London under-recruiting what UVa's press releases said. Yeah, UVa picked up the odd, decent skill position player, but there is/was nothing left on the lines, where Virginia was shredded, and no real depth anywhere. London was always more story than substance.

AUB's D definitely overachieved that game, I think Dabbo wasn't exepcting anything like what he saw and it took them basically all 4Qs to come to terms with the fact that AUB wasn't just going to roll over. I think Gus handed him the game with some of those late stretch offensive play calls on the Tigers side of the field.

Grobe is NOT Briles!!! and that team cannot afford to lose one player... 1 loss might mean no playoff for a Big12... and after Bay Bay's offseason and humans making the playoff decisions, one strike and Bay is out... score a few points here and call it a day there's a long season ahead for their starters.
These thoughts are money Wahoo!.

sent you a message old friend, check it
as far as Herman goes, if UH gets into the Big12 I see him remaining in Houston, the program can get as much money as needed to keep him and the biggest donors will empty accounts if they get the big12 nod
he's a scary good coach, really impressed with him on every level, he's going to win big wherever he ends up
def agree with spot favoring Purduke, it feels like a ballsy bet only catching under a TD, not sure my nerves can handle that wager but I think it's the correct side to back, Cincy won't be that good this year so the time is now for the Boilers, hope they win for you

just a feeling of sadness for the Hoos, they are bad
I'm sure the trip to Eugene will end well this week

If I may suggest you keep this thread going thru the season
and see how each of those teams continue with the way they played week one or if they change as the season goes along
I agree completely on Charlie Strong being an idiot
even mentioned in last season in BWs thread
the guy doesnt know how to win
and while the Defense looked like it was cheesecake
they did play what I believe is a very high powered offense in Notre Dame
Notre Dame put 36 points on Stanfords D Last year
I don't overreact to one week and my opinions can change from week to week, LSU would win out and I'd give them a ton of credit, just don't see Les opening up the offense if he hasn't done it yet, feels like beating a dead horse, he just doesn't seem to get it
Charlie is a great guy, love what he stands for and love the way he runs the UT program, he just isn't an elite coach and at a school like UT you need elite to reach expectations, UT fans don't want 2nd in conference, they want playoff appearances and championships, just don't think he's the guy to get them there but I am cheering for him, he is easy to like and seems like such an honorable man
the Notre Dame offense is nice but they lost a great back and a rocket engine wideout in Fuller, Stanford d last year wasn't exactly a normal Stanford d either, I went back and watched the ND/Texas game again and thought the coaching difference was evident between Kelly and Strong, this Irish team isn't a legit top 5 team like many thought they would be, they are young, next year will be the year of the Irish in my opinion
I can't keep a thread going all year, I may hate my own opinions in two weeks

I like your lean on Wyoming with that decent sized number. Huskers have Oregon coming to town next week, lot of hype in Lincoln for that game. Can see them doing enough to get a semi-comfortable win this week in preparation for the ducks.

TCU/Arky and Texas Tech/ASU look like complete crapshoots to me. I would prefer to see a second game out of these teams (especially TCU) before I do anything. I've never had any luck betting on Arizona State games. Todd Graham teams are so erratic from week to week...BOL this week

Feel you on TCU I can't roll over a TD here... I might pinch Arkey ML and the under the D should be a little better offense is a WIP... and as we've seen before, Trill might not Thrill!
Wahoo, I gotta like SD at 6.5 but the spread aint budging... every football addict got to see their O explode on Haw's D- D.....then a week off IDK if that impacts much but kindof an odd way to start. I have no money down just my hunch the game slips SD's at some point. LY's game noted... probably what's spookin me off of it.

I personally think Arkansas is a special level of mediocre and will get sent packing on Saturday night (& I don't think TCU is great by any stretch but they have a huge coaching edge in this one), Gary will be able to drum up enough defense to slow down that run game, I like TCU by 17ish in this one, it will depend on how well the QB plays though, hopefully I'm right as I'm going to bet TCU once the line dips a touch
I have yet to place an actual bet for this week but I'm close now and will post them up tonight
thanks for post bro
