Week 2 (9-5-1 YTD)

So had a decent opening weekend, not as good as I hoped, but won money, so it's a good week..

Kind of like Central Michagan....Not so much on Miss st.

was checking the line on the Covers scoreboard.. 70% on Auburn, but the line goes down?? Granted it is only this website, but i've found it to be quite helpful.. SMU game is a perfect example.. 

How do you know 70% is on Auburn, anyways?  I usually find those percentages skeptical.  The best way to find out if 70% is really on Auburn, take 100 random people and see who they have on the game.

click on week 2 on the NCAAF Scores tab.. look at the Auburn @ Miss. State game.. next to Auburn, there is the team's record (1-0), followed by a percentage.. granted it is early and like i said, one website, but it's been very helpful to me over the past several years.. 

Like CMU..Temple may lose outright..

week 1 line movement didnt really factor for me during week 1.  If you look at Boise St.  they went from -2 to +2???  vegas was asking us to take boise....

talk about a yelling at your tv moment...

not to mention, it was a match up between two top 10 teams.. Auburn and Miss. State is a bigger difference..

oahuboy -  I like State as well, and feel that all of the love for Auburn will drive the line up a bit. Going to wait to see if it hits 3 - 3.5 before I make it a play. BOL this weekend man

I'm on C. Michigan,leaning towards Miss St. at home but haven't pulled the trigger yet.Auburn rushed for 367 yards last week,thats a little scary.

@ SuddenDeath.. i might wait on pulling the trigger on Miss State.. spread might go back up, but then again, why is it going down in the 1st place??

I love the Miss State game.  Below is a link to how big this game is to the Dawgs.  To MSU this game makes or breaks the season...to Auburn its just another game.  I think Auburn comes in a little overconfident given how poorly MSU has been in the past.  This is not the same MSU team of the past.  There is a reason Florida's offense has not been as good over the past two years and that is because there former OC is now the head coach at MSU.  Think about it...

Other than Neyland factor, there's NO WAY Vols can hang w/Ducks.  People are putting way too much on the home field.   They return their best RB, they already have the best RB's & OL in the Pac 10.  They played very vanilla LW, will show much more here.  BIG factor Vols have Fl on deck!!  The whole DB's ret., rated #1 in conf.!  Line has dropped now, 12.  Will be my biggest $$ of the wk!  2nd will be Hawkeyes laying less than 2 TD's.  ISU @ Kinnick, w/a whole dif. tm than in yrs past, Hawks may be best of B10 OSU included.  Iowa will shut out their O. Clayborn, Ballard & Klug, will get 6 sacks. 35-10 Hawks.  BOL to all.

I like your style/thought process in determining your plays. It seems to me that USC completely goes against the way u pick, and your making it your largest play? Big chalk that comes in just under 3 td's seems like a traditionally weak line for the favorite, as they are tempting the better to think, "of course they can beat them by 21". (same thing with lines just under 14) Just like USC last week, which you nailed. I'm seeing 95% of bets on USC using vegasinsider.com matchup section.( which still can't be completely trusted but is a better barometer than wagerline, Auburn at 83%). So the public hasn't lost faith in USC after letting Hawaii hang around. Virginia does have a defense. score could certainly be 28-10 or 31-13 good luck bro, just something to think about.
