Do you ever watch the game show, Deal or No Deal? 90% of the time, the contestants turn down the sure money in hopes of more money. How often do they succeed - regardless of the odds, (ie, 6 of 9 amounts higher than the offered amount)?

Look at it another way, would you be pleased to win the Alabama bet at 10-1 instead of 20-1? And what if you middled the game with a Texas plus 4 wager...

Wow, van...I've been on a few of the same games as you and I'm down around 20 units. I was on LSU and UNC big for instance and caught them at different figures and lost those bets huge.

Well, I liked LSU to win. I never really thought that it'd come down to the 19-17 BS that it did. The Auburn game I was big on too...that was just flat out rough. I cannot believe they fumbled twice. I was keen on the push. Honestly, I was just comparing the lines I got vs. the lines Van got after I saw this thread. From what I saw from Pitt and UNC, i thought Carolina would blow Pitt out of the water for an easy win. Another late loss there.

I counted my bets and I'm actually down 35 units on these bowls. Never again...I'm sticking to baseball where I actually make money.

hi im kinda new and there are many cappers out there that believe vanzack is a schmuck of a capper. I totally AGREE that he is mediocre at best! However, in his defense, he's honest and extremely amicable about his skills. Thanks vanzack!

This schmuck had a bad year - but I had a good 7 year run before that (with one bad year in there too).

Van, are you solely a sports handicapper or are you involved in other interests for sources of income?

I only ask out of curiosity, I'm not trying to indulge in your personal life or anything of that nature. Just interested in how you do what you do.

I very rarely contribute to this forum and I had to actually find my password to post this. I have followed Vanzack's picks for about 4 years and I think he is one of the best college football cappers on this site. This was a strange year in the NCAA. I look forward to seeing your posts next season Vanzack.

Thank you - that is very nice.

After picking every game, for all different amounts - I BROKE EXACTLY EVEN OVER EVERY BOWL GAME.

That is close to impossible I think - I should get some kind of award for that.
