USC - Frehman TB Dillon Baxter who many say is the most talanted Trojan on the team has been suspended for the season opener at Hawaii.Aparently he was late for something.

Missouri - Tiger's leading returning WR Jerrell Jackson broke a bone in his left wrist late yesterday and will miss at least the season opener vs. Illinois and may be out longer.

Nice work fellas, guys are dropping like flies.  If I can find the time, I'm going to start a thread called The Replacements, about the guys stepping in for injured players.  In the case of Jerrel Jackson going down for Mizzou, his replacement, TJ Moe, "has been a revelation," according to Dave Matter of The Columbia Tribune.  The Soph WR "has arguably been MU's most consistent and productive receiver through the first week of camp"

Vanderbilt - The 'Dores lost 2 starters on back to back plays yesterday.RB Zac Stacy and TE Austin Monahan could both be lost for the year due to knee injuries.Stacy led Vandy in rushing last year with 802 yards averaging 5.4 ypc.

that was Warren  Norman that led the Dores......(and broke H Walker's SEC  freshman all-purpose yardage record).....but Stacy might be better back....(believe he was ahead of Norman when he got hurt LY).....

that Vol DL looking thin 29......
might be THE team to fade early......

Both RB Stacy and TE Monahan are second teamers.  RB Norman had 802 yards last year, not Stacy. 

"A key pair of second-teamers, tight end Austin Monahan and running back Zac Stacy, both went down with injuries at Thursday evening's practice. The injuries happened on back-to-back plays about three-fourths of the way through the Commodores' seventh workout of the summer.

Both suffered knee sprains, with Monahan hurting his right knee, and Stacy hurting his left. Coach Robbie Caldwell, wasn't certain about what happened to precipitate either injury, though Stacy's occurred after about a five-yard run that ended at the bottom of a pile of players.

VU hopes that an MRI on Friday will reveal more about the severity of the injuries.

Bookieassassin...agree to fade Tennessee.  Their offensive line is so bad right now that HC Dooley stated recently "they have no clue" and "just a bunch of guys wearing orange shirts running around the field".  Add in a new inexperienced QB and very few playmakers, UT isnt scoring many points.

Ryan Baker-starting weakside LB for LSU is out 4-6 weeks with a broken jaw. Replacement will most likely be Kevin Minter RFr, he's been very good in spring and fall camp so far, not much of a drop off IMO.

Richt provided an injury update on a couple of Bulldog linemen. Junior offensive guard Cordy Glenn, a projected starter, is "out for a while" due to mononucelosis while redshirt sophomore reserve tackle Jonathan Owens is out with a knee injury.

With Glenn out, junior Tanner Strickland has seen more practice time.

 I always thought that Anderson would be #1 to start and possibly A.J. Graham the starter at some point after that as "Doc" Holliday loves speed.
