Yes, very aware of the weather. All depends how bad the field is, but weather is the great equalizer. Bad weather favors IU. Playing in a dome, for example, would accentuate Alabama's speed advantage, a soggy field diminishes it. Rain is suppose to be out of there around kickoff, but it's the weather, who th knows? I'm still confident in the play. Weather might make it closer, but I don't think it will change the outcome.
I'm not sure if I posted it in this thread, but as I have explained, my expectation for the Alabama/IU game is for Alabama to get out to a fast start, and put IU in chase mode, something they are not accustom to doing. I see it playing out very similar to how the Miami/OSU game went in the 1st half. Neither OSU or IU are built to chase down double digit leads. We can now see that is exactly the situation that confronts OSU, and I think IU will find themselves in a similar situation. For that reason, I have made the follow two predictions . . . I think Alabama will out-rush Indiana (because of IU chase mode), and that Mendoza will throw more than one pick.
This is the #1 MOST IMPORTANT aspect of this entire match-up. IU backers and the media envision the MASH Unit that play against UGA swimming around in their brains, and they have no clue what is about to hit them. Alabama being HEALTHY for once, and being rested is very bad news for IU.
If Bama out rushes IU then Indiana chances of winning would drop to bout zero

Ohio State rushed for 45 yards and Sayin threw 2 picks. The reason that happened is because Ohio State was chasing points the whole game. I am predicting a similar result because I am predicting that we'll see a similar game-script in the Alabama game . . . Alabama jumping out to an early lead and ultimately forcing IU to throw to get back into the game. I also like Alabama out-rushing IU because I believe Alabama will be playing with a lead, and IU loves their 2 deep shell coverage which invites the run. So yes, in the right game-script, I do think it is possible to see Alabama out-rush Indiana in this game.
