 Alright, first (and VERY early) analysis of the national title game

Indiana (1 unit): sharp indicators outweigh lopsided wagering

With only one game, I decided to give a summary of the reasoning. This is how things are shaping up.  Right now Indiana is a modest call despite overwhelming wagering on the Hoosiers.  It is clear the oddsmakers underestimated the public's interest in IU.  Maybe it was because Miami was "at home" (by the way there will be more hoosiers than Cane fans in attendance I bet), or that Miami has a bigger name thus attracting public interest.  Whatever the reason IU is definitely the pick of both the public and the sharps right now.  I fully expect the present line to move to 9 or higher.  If that happens it wil let another indicator toward the hoosiers because it will confirm that the prior lines were set too low.  However, it will be interesting if the lopsided wagering continues and the line does NOT move, or even more moves lower.  At that point, the indicators may start to reverse. 

At present it remains 1 unit due to the sharp action mentioned above outweighing the lopsided wagering.  Thus, not a big play but I still thought I would provide the reasoning behind the selection as a window into how these numbers are put together.

Yeah I honestly expected -13.5 for the Hoosiers. Carson Beck may easily throw a few INT's in favor of 2 easy TDs for Indiana.
