HR - BOL on the bowl games bud

Auburn 38 Northwestern 17 - Tigers balanced attack should work against NW allowing 28+ in five games, Malzahn has been good at putting together game plans in past bowls with Tulsa (54 ppg last couple yrs) , too much speed on both sides if Auburn is ready to play

Oklahoma 41 Stanford 21 - Sooners have struggled on the road and in recent bowl games, however feel some time to get healthy and run defense against Stanford team likely with backup QB is good matchup, OU should move the ball against Stanford soft defense (36 ppg over last 7) if able to avoid mistakes

Ole Miss 34 Okla St 21 - expect OSU to have problems running against Ole Miss defense that held Tenn and LSU to avg 70 rushing yds, which leaves passing game not over 200 since Oct, feel Nutt will have them ready after Miss St debacle and enough speed on offense to make some plays

Tennessee 23 Va Tech 20 - Vols not blown out much this year only losing to Ole Miss and Florida by more than 4, some time off may be good for banged up Tenn defense, VT not likely to extend margin against pretty solid team and has not fared well on turf in the past, could be similar to earlier Nebraska matchup

Bowling Green 45 Idaho 35 - just needing to pick the winner, will lean towards best player on the field Barnes with 138 grabs, nice to see Idaho make a bowl although will need to outscore BG since defense won't contain Sheehan and Co pretty solid down the stretch

Nevada 52 SMU 31 - Wolfpack usually fares well against low level defenses and 31+ every game since late Sept, SMU will need to match scores the most of the way...not likely, unless Nevada feels charitable towards the end

Air Force 31 Houston 28 - hard trying AF has lost last couple bowls here including 34-28 last year to Cougars in fairly even game, AF rarely out of a game (one loss by more than TD) and defense improved over last year giving up more than 23 once. Upset.

Florida St 34 West Va 30 - even playing without a defense expect FSU to give a good effort the entire way and might be able to keep sluggish WV offense (20 ppg over last five) under 50, FSU solid in bowls lately 4-0-1 ATS including 30-18 over WV in 2004, would be stronger play except for QB Manuel (2-6 TD-INT)

Ok I bit the bullet and looked.  Well one thing I can tell you Tenn, LSU and Bama will be consensus plays. 

Uncertain on some of the others  ... Disagree with Oklahoma and will take Stanford and the points.

Any opinion on WISKY v MIA - 3

Bein a ' Cane fan who will be at the game, I have abosolutely no choice but to make the play on on my boys....Just lookin for others insight that might effect the size of my play   ...Im also gettin the feeling that Cane fans are grabbin up ACC side tickets cuz when I got mine they were hard to find, but was a huge amount of BIG TEN side tickets available and being sold at a cheaper price

double - thinking Kelly is gone just like he did to CMU similar timing as I recall, if FLA is ready to play (possibly questionable) it won't matter if Lombardi is coaching

kaplan - look forward to what the program has to say on the bowls, been pretty solid this year, BOL

bustin - yeah pretty much went through all of them early so as not to be biased, wasn't hard to figure it would be same side on certain ones expecting about 2/3 agree and 1/3 different similar to last year which should make for decent consensus...unless we're both wrong on the 2/3....hopefully more like last couple years for us both though and maybe around 14-7 again with any luck 

calbear - started to sink in regular season is over, BOL bowl season buddy 

par - having some trouble getting a handle on that one so far although Orlando sounds like edge for MiaFL, would probably lean MiaFL and over with probably better overall speed. However before last year losing big to FSU, Badgers have played close ones 3-4 pts in every bowl since 2004 including mostly against good teams on new years in FL. Could be like Neb-Clem last year expect fairly tight game, whichever QB avoids mistakes, GL

No doubt in my mind UF will cover the ten against Cinci but one thing to worry about it Charlie Strong is going to be the head coach at Louisville next year. Hopefully he will still but all hes got into the game plan.

My wager is locked in  MIA - 3..Personally feel it will come down to which Jacory Harris shows up....BIG TEN side still has plenty of tickets available...hard to get a seat on ACC side currently... And since Ill be at the game....I doubt ill even remember the spread by the start of the 2nd QTR
