Just curious about your thoughts on why you are taking Auburn.  I have a hunch on why, but as bad as they have looked its hard to touch that.  Probably just a good spot for them but would love to hear your thoughts on it.

hey boom this clemson game looks way too easy. is wake really that bad?  i feel like they can slow this game down to a snail crawl. (and that will prob be their gameplan)  i usually hate playing conference nationally televised road favs during the middle of the week. but i guess if anyone knows that clemson wont stumble, it would be you

wake has covered as a small dog in their last 2 games, but virginia and maryland couldnt be greater opposites that the offense that clemson runs.

whats your quick 2cents on this matchup?

Like Clemson, Oklahoma and Georgia.  Doubt I can bet Georgia because of the huge coaching mismatch though.

It's funny.  I liked Oklahoma when the line came out.  At the time I thought most people would be all over the Golden Domers.  I'm surprised to see so many on Boomer Sooner.

I think one of your Auburn plays will not cover.  If the total goes over 53, it'll be because TAMU scores 40+ by themselves, and if that happens, they cover easily.  Auburn's offense is pretty much incapable of scoring in the 20s.  I think the play is either Auburn +15.5 and UNDER, or TAMU -15.5 and OVER.  I lean toward the later, but I'm just not sure I can lay that much road chalk with a SEC neophyte.

#6. Dooley will get fired. He is good coach, but in the SEC you got 2 years tops to do better than the last guy that coached your school. If you don't you will be fired. Lane kiffin really screwed this school and whoever the next coach would be. As a UGA fan, I have stood by Richt when everyone wants him to be fired. But, if they lose to florida and win out, I need a change.

I have to respectfully disagree. I waited until this year to judge Dooley on the merits of his coaching. Yes Kiffin left TN in a bad position but after 3 solid recruiting classes (not great but solid). I cannot say that this year's team is any better than last year's and frankly from my perspective it has regressed. This TN team is a poorly coached team. I realize teams like Alabama and UF have more talented players but the gap is not that large. Considering our offense there are probably 8 NFL talent players. Although Alabama is first round talent and TN is third round talent there is still some talent there and I expect TN to be competitive. Kiffin took an undertalented TN team to Alabama and was a blocked FG away from winning. (Not to say Kiffin is a great coach, but he showed something there) TN with Dooley at the helm losses miserably and that is what is frustrating as a fan...losing is part of the game but lack of competition is unacceptable IMO. I believe if J Hunter stays next year and TN gets a quality Coach you will see a marked difference from this year to next....maybe not in the wins and loses but in the level of competition. Bray especially needs some guidance and he seems unprepared for the level of competition in the SEC and the O Cord is not helping much.

My gut feel is Dooley will be fired next week (as to not have the opportunity to run off 4 consecutive wins in Nov...and note I said opportunity as even UK is not a given as we learned last year!) I believ he last the his job when TN when he lost to Miss State. An bye week to prepare and your coaching job on the line...and that was god awful looking team that play that night.

Would also give TN a head start against the others schools that will be looking for coaches.

And for the record I have supported Dooley and believe he should be given time to win, but he should not be given more time to put a sub par product on the field. That time has come to pass.
