i see there alot of fans of touch football in here, oregon, stanford, wisconsin, okie st, wv,clemson did you people watch those 3 games? those teams cant tackle worth a shit. all they do is try to put a hit on people, they dont even use their arms to wrap people and make tackles.
and stop bringing up the nfl it has nothing to do with college. look at the college teams lately that won bcs titles they all had good defenses, alabama, lsu, auburn so so but played great vs oregon, usc, etc.
none of those teams had shit defenses like those punk teams in the bcs games this year
want to watch a real football game? wait till monday bama vs lsu, we might not see more than 2 or 3 tds at most. that will be a good close game imo.
if you like offense so much and hate defense, why dont you go play touch football? cause that what these games have been so far these bcs games, besides the va tech michigan game, they all been touch football games, they dont even FUCKIN TACKLE NO MORE. just look at the offensive records that are getting shattered this year
people think baylor are good and they gave up 56 to washington lol. these teams would get crushed against lsu and bama
lsu and bama has way more nfl talent too than any of those other teams.

you must hate teh sec, have fun with that. cause the sec is gonna win the bcs title this year, and in 2013 as well. i mean common wtf is gonna win the bcs title next year if its not lsu, alabama or usc? usc is the only team that has any shot to break this win streak by the sec.

learn the game kid, you probably 1 of the people last year that said oregon will score tons on auburn casue uaburn defense sucks huh? yet oregon barely got 2 tds in that game lol. common just admit the sec is by far the SUPERIOR conference in college football, no other conference is even close, this is not college basketball, there is no parity in football when you compare sec to other confereces. if i made 10 million id play on a broken foot too. why are you comparing nfl to college though? its not even the same game

look at what vegas posted for 2013 bcs odds
lsu 7/2
bama 6/1
usc 6/1
oregon 8/1
arkansas 12/1
georgia 12/1
you think vegas is stupid? they are not, 4 of top 6 favorites to win bcs title next year are from the sec. if you gave me even money the sec wins the bcs title next year it a good bet. i mean wtf is gonna beat any of those teams usc? maybe, oregon unlikely. after these 6 teams the next ones are like florida st va tech 18 to 1, oklahoma 20 to 1. and no way in fuck i put my $ on fsu or va tech they fuckin suck and oklahoma always chokes like a bunch of sissy people.

if you want parity watch college basketball, the ncaa tourney will be good this year its a tossup really for who will win the ncaa title in that, but football its all sec all day, how long it been like this 5 or 6 years now? gonna be like this for long time, until other conferences catch up.
we know the big east sucks, the acc sucks, the big 10 has sucked evey since ohio st got ass raped to florida in the bcs title game.
pac 10 is USC and oregon, oregon wont be as good next year as this year
big 12 is ok in football, but those teams always choke or the good teams in that conference got no defense, so i dont see how okies t or baylor will be better next year thats not happening. texas is in trouble with mac brown
oklahoma is likely to choke like they usualy do.
im gonna say lsu or bama vs usc next year. but if usc sucks in a few games and loses a couple games. might be lsu vs alabama part 4 game of the centruy hahahah id love to see it. i know im putting $ on either bama or lsu to win the 2013 title. just like i got bama this year 7 to 1. and i hedge on lsu and i am making good money monday no matter who wins $$$$$$$ and it all about the $$$$$. nobody wants to watch pussies who cant tackle, i feel asleep during the oregon, stanford games that was some boring shit, throw the ball oh look at the person he doesnt even tackle, boom boom td, 80pt games easy lol
it gonna be nice watching a likely defensive game monday, i say bama wins 17-13. you will see 3 tds in this game baby. it gonna be a good game. you think the sec or the south or espn give a fuck about these punk teams like okie st? okie st couldnt even beat iowa st
i made good money on the pinstripe bowl when i pounded rutgers ml over iowa st, that was easy $$$$$

I think that an 8 team tournament with perhaps a one game play-in for 9 and 10 would work best. Boise St. vs Baylor would get great ratings to start the post season don't you think?
The current system is an absolute ass raping of college football fans. There can be no doubt that a tournament would increase overall revenue. Corruption is the only explaination for it not happening yet.

Wow....so much faulty bullshit....where to start.
Your words in an earlier post "and for anybody who doesn't understand... any one of those 8 teams could (on their best day) defeat any one of the other 8 teams (if they didn't have their best day)... " If this is the case, why is leaving out #3 much more significant than leaving out #9? When you set up an 8 team playoff, you're ultimately choosing between 2 teams.....one to be #8 and the last team in, and one to be #9 and the first team out. If this is the kind of logic you were taught in grad school
, you might want a refund from that online university.
No one said that the NFL would be more or less suited for a BCS type playoff than D-1 college football. All I pointed out was that you posted an irrelevant analogy. Also, you failed to address the fact that the NFL plays games that are absolutely meaningless....one of the factors that makes the college football regular season the best there is....by far..
On one hand, you say there is no level playing field in college football to decide the 2 best teams to play in a championship under the current BCS system.......but you want the exact same system to decide the 8 best teams to play in a playoff system. Can't have it both ways.
If anyone is out of their league, it is you my friend. Your resorting to "f-bombs" merely shows that intellectually, you are out of gas. Get some new material................and at the same time go get a real degree.

Finally, an intelligent response.

I like the current system as well. Bowl games are special for the athletes. Keep all the current bowls. Have #1 play #4 in the Sugar. #2 and #3 in the Fiesta. Winners the next week.
I know some of these bowls seem dumb but the athletes enjoy playing in them and us fans of the smaller schools enjoy them as well. Some schools only have these bowls to look forward to. Plus it gets the players from small schools on National TV,

If this ever happens in our lifetime, I think it will most likley be a 4 team playoff. The NCAA has discussed the prospect of a 4 team playoff in the past, but I don't think it is likely to happen anytime soon.
Whith that said, I think we have the two best teams in the Country playing for the National Championship this year IMO.

i am truly appalled by the failure of your thinking... look at the post in RED... this really scares me, every time i see that the level of logic is so utterly backwards... how are you not seeing the difference here?
in the current system, 2 teams are chosen, and 6 are disregarded... and the decision made is tacitly saying, "we do not need anything else to determine that these two teams are the best"... in an 8-team playoff, you are leaving out #9, 10, 11... etc... but you are saying, "these 8 teams will PROVE ON THE FIELD OF BATTLE which 2 have a right to play for all of the marbles"...
again... HOW ARE YOU NOT SEEING THE DIFFERENCE? and you have the nerve to question my degree?????? seriously! this is frightening... this is what our educational system delivers? i have taken logic, critical thinking, philosophy courses, at a Master's level... you are basically admitting that you have not taken any of those things... and the result is that you cannot see a remedial argument when it is staring you in the face...
you lost! ok... that's it!
No one said that the NFL would be more or less suited for a BCS type playoff than D-1 college football. All I pointed out was that you posted an irrelevant analogy. Also, you failed to address the fact that the NFL plays games that are absolutely meaningless....one of the factors that makes the college football regular season the best there is....by far..
again, i'm going to rip you to shreds, as i said i would... you claim the NFL has meaningless games, and the tacit inferral (by you) is that CFB does not... correct? well, let's be real here... in the current system, there was not a SINGLE MEANINGFUL GAME IN THE FINAL TWO WEEKS OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!! not one!!!!
none of the conference championships had ANY bearing on the NC game... and i'll take it one step further... EVEN THE ALABAMA - LSU GAME WAS TOTALLY MEANINGLESS!!! because whoever lost that game, was going to be in the top 2 of the BCS standings, thanks to the fact that they did not play in their own conference championship... Alabama did not have to play during Conf Championship weekend... and yet they still got into the NC game... HOW MUCH MORE MEANINGLESS COULD CFB GAMES BE, when the final 2 (or even 3 weeks) of the season didn't matter... AT ALL???
On one hand, you say there is no level playing field in college football to decide the 2 best teams to play in a championship under the current BCS system.......but you want the exact same system to decide the 8 best teams to play in a playoff system. Can't have it both ways.
why can't you have it both ways? it's apples and oranges... i already gave you the analogy... i'll take it one step further, and see if you can grasp remedial logic...
do you think it would be fair, if, at the end of the College basketball regular season... instead of picking 66 teams to play in a tournament to decide the National Champion, they instead used the committee that picks those 66 teams, to simply pick 2 teams to play a single game to decide the national champion?
i don't! i think that would be complete horseshit... and yet that is exactly what happens in CFB... and somehow, you don't grasp the fact that it is the same thing... the current system is foregoing a playoff, but a playoff is needed... using the same system to PICK 8 teams, is not the same as using it to PICK 2 teams, and skip the playoffs altogether... a completely valid analogy! this is logic 101!
don't ever come in here thinking you have an upper hand on me when it comes to anything related to logic, because you do not, you cannot, and you never will!
