trust me, if i could get a glimpse at your card to make sure i'm not accidentally on any of your picks, i would make good use of that info...
don't necessarily support 'unproductive posts' < like this one...(insight posting a disagreement.....what's the point?).....looks like he was making fun of the homoerotic theme of this thread..."wow ur awesome ice....read my mind ice > steal my thoughts ...wow totally awesome avatar ice" ......wow generic blonde with plastic football titties > don't see that everyday........
i think ol insight goes 4-0 with his picks though......if you are confident in yours you wouldn't have responded like a little girl
It is better to be feared - than to be loved.

as you may have noticed... i made no comment on the Arizona pick... good luck with Ol Miss and Ohio St, though...
bookie... sounds like you have a grudge... i can't help but laugh at a post that in one breath whines about people supporting my picks, and in the other breath talks about responding like a little girl...
thanks for the solid covers contribution!

can't believe Mt. Union blew that game... stole my winnings from the Wake game...
what's TGND?
That's an interesting insight...Mt. Union "blew that game?"..simply got back-doored, happens 2-3 times a week!! And "stole my winnings", the Wake cover was a gift, covers like that you only see 1-2 times a year. You just lost the game you should've won...and won the one you should've lost.

Buc... that's pretty classy of you coming on my thread and talking smack about games where i went 1-1, after you went 0-3 on all of your meaningful plays, that were supposed to be following a 75%+ trend... you are not showing well...
Insight... so did you bet the total in the Arizona game?

Guess Mr Insight and myself (as well as everyone else here) do not have the expertise you have...I mean you've gone 15 winning years (or something like that?) in a row. We all know you're the best, you've told us. You're quick to jump everyone else's picks and threads with your criticism and your arrogance...but guess you don't like it done to yours??

And if you'd be so kind to clarify Ice: You list your "full card" which has 10 plays. But you then go on to list about another 20 "recommended" plays. Does that mean these are plays or not? Does that make them "official plays" as you suggest if someone else makes a reference to an early lean? Just trying to figure if shoes fit the same feet here...

Nah Ice I did not bet the over/under in the zona game.
I rarely bet over/unders
I will be against you tonight though as I have TCU -3 locked in. Although I am not touching the over or under, I will provide you with a prediction for shits and giggles.
TCU 23 Boise 13

BB... unlike you, i am not putting out my picks in an effort to tout... i have no "paying customers"... and unlike you, i am not in need of the approval or support of anyone on Covers... this thread is for my benefit... not yours...
seems strange to me that after i conceded that last word to you, and considering i made no comment at all on your thread after you went 0-3 to start off, you insist on trashing my thread... seems like this would just call more attention to your own card...
Insight... GL!

gonna have to add one to the list... actually just upgrading it:
Texas (-9.5)
some of the other plays that i would recommend:
Wake, Col St, So Miss, Boise, NCSt, UNC, Cal, Neb, Penn St, Utah
other totals:
Troy/SMiss (OV), Boise/TCU (OV), Ok St/Ore (OV), LSU/GT (OV), UGA/MSU (OV), Tulsa Ball St (OV), PSU/USC (UN), Bama/Utah (UN)
thanks for the feedback!
How soon we forget..your recommendations here or maybe someone else's? You conceded what to me, the fact you accuse people of slimy ethics. As far as ethics...how are these 20 plays (that you forgot?) different than just what you accused me of? And show me anywhere where I have touted anyone. And yes, I do have issues...when people accuse me of "slimy ethics" they'd better be squeaky clean. Guess you're not...and now you can't even remember your own post on THIS thread? Guess it's easy to never have a losing year in 15 years with a memory like that...
As expected, different strokes for different folks. You're not the only one that calls a spade a spade...

don't know why i missed that post... i did remember posting it... just couldn't find it when i scrolled through...... also, how is it that you went on for pages and pages about me not "reading" what you wrote... and here you are claiming that i said i have not had a losing season in 15 years? what's with you?
and yes hellcat... have a play on Boise (+3) and the over (45)... neither are very big plays for me...

Well Ice, ya got me. Boise O line played much better than I thought. Maybe I should stick with totals. My under prediction came through again. Good luck on your plays but be careful with Texas and Tech man.....

thx Insight... your total on the game was on the money! i felt pretty wishy-washy on that total... kept thinking about hedging it back at 46.5, but that always bites me in the ass, so i stuck with it... only consolation is that i put down a teaser that started with Boise (+10) and Un (52), and has some pretty nice plays to finish off... so at least i could get something out of that game in the long run...
i still really like Tx Tech... Texas i don't feel quite as strong, but still like it... just depends on how inspired Ohio St plays...
we shall see...

for the record, i still haven't put money on the Tx Tech game... as long as the line keeps dropping i'll keep waiting... would love it at (-4) or less... i posted it on the first post because i knew i would be betting it, but wasn't sure if the line would keep dropping...
i suppose there's still time to talk me out of it...... but it's pretty much a waste of time...

posted this on the CMich-FAU game thread... this will serve as my write-up for the first of my main plays this bowl season... i don't feel much of a need to get into CMU's breakdown... FAU has played very much to form all year, and their breakdown gives us a very good barometer of what to expect from them...
take a close look at the performance of Florida Atlantic this year... i know everyone likes Rusty Smith... yea, he's a nice little QB... but break this down people...
Fla Atl wins:
- 49-34 vs UAB (105)
- 24-20 @ W Kentucky (117)
- 29-28 @ ULMonroe (112)
- 46-13 vs No Texas (119)
- 40-29 vs ULLafayette (93)
- 57-50 (OT) vs Fla Int'l (101)
Avg score: 41-29
Avg opponent ranking: 108 out of 119
Fla Atl losses:
- 10-52 @ Texas (2)
- 0-17 @ Mich St (30)
- 3-37 @ Minn (62)
- 17-30 vs Troy (64)
- 14-28 @ Ark St (95)
Avg score: 9-35
Avg opponent ranking: 51 out of 119
Most impressive win: 40-29 vs ULLafayette (93)
Most impressive road win: 29-28 @ ULMonroe (112)
Worst loss: 14-28 @ Ark St (95)
CMich ranking: 69 out of 119
Fla Atl ranking: 99 out of 119
considering this is very much a home game for CMich... the game on Fla Atlantic's schedule that most resembles this one is the road game @ Minnesota (62), which they lost 37-3...
Fla Atlantic was 0-4 against all Bowl teams, losing by an average score of 34-8... they only beat 1 team ranked in the top 100... the average score of all road games was 13-30, with an average opponent ranking of 70...
according to the Predictor projections, if we give CMich 3 points for homefield (which is quite conservative for a Bowl Game), CMich would win by 11-12 points...
GL!

glad notre dame covered...that covered my damn TCU debacle...
I don't really have an opinion on this Central game. On paper, FAU has been inconsistent all year long. They make many mistakes (i.e., drop passes, miss extra points, and make stupid penalties) but have some talent on both sides of the ball.
Central has a good offense and is basically playing at home. They too, however, have been an enigma. Their defense sucks. What that tells me is that FAU can score. Will they be motivated? Who knows. Small lean to FAU and the over but this is definitely a no play for me.
Good luck ICE

thanks Insight... i do have a play on the Over as well, which covers your angle regarding CMU's crappy defense... it's either gonna be a CMU comfortable cover, or a total shootout... and possibly can get both... luckily i got the over before it shot up too high (Ov 62.5)... up to 66 last time i checked... even there i think its the over is a good bet...

Great points in regards to take C. Michigan. Fla Atl just hasn't looked strong (even against very shitty teams) at all this year. I'll take C. Michigan laying 7 against a very weak Sun Belt team...

updated with results so far... finally officially added Ok St and Tx Tech today at some very favorable lines... Cal was bet when it opened at (-6), so i got a win even though many people lost with them... have bet on all of these games so far, with the only exception being the Ov on So Miss/Troy... haven't bet Nebraska yet but i will... hoping it will get back up to (+3)...
7-4, but 1-2 on my favorite plays...
not sure how much i really like Rice at this point, but the other top plays i love... will double up on Texas if it gets to 7...
