Texas is better than Bama on Offense, Defense, and Special Teams.

I was leaning alabama a week ago, but I think I might change to Texas and the points.  Ingram won the Heisman, and I think Colt McCoy will want to prove a point in this game.

LongHornHoosiers - seriously..I don't play the "homer" game stuff. Maybe I am seeing something you are not but I like the underdog in this matchup. If I was such a homer, I would just sit back, have a cold one and watch the game...but I am laying it thick on this game cause I have all the confidence in the world that UT have the skills players, coaching staffs to beat Saban and the mighty Bama.

On paper, there is no doubt Bama is the better team and you will find very little angles to back Texas in this spot, that's why this game is soooooooooooo difficult to cap.

The way Bama have performed, the SEC conference, Nick Saban, spread....all of those factors are making Bama very hard to resist and all of those should be "warning" signs IMO.

In the end,,I feel the underdog are always more motivated to take the crown away and like I mentioned above, UT have all the tools necessary to win this game and THEY WILL.

Coach Brown made ZERO adjustments in the nebraska game.  He continually left mccoy back there with no changes in his protection schemes.  8 sacks? and countless throw aways out of bounds?  i was shocked and how texas did not counter anything in that game.  defensively, i love how texas has played all year, they have definetly been the strength of this team.  However, i dont think they are better than Florida's Defense who returned 22 defensive players from last years National Championship team.  Alabama shredded them.  Bama had a great game plan, they did a great job mixing up the play calling.  Florida was on their heels the entire game.  i think muschamp is terrific and i expect him to have a nice gameplan to counter what bama is going to do. I just think Bama will line up, go man on man, and wear down Texas in the end.  remember, its not just Ingram.  Richardson is a beast too. BOL on your play, the "value" may be with Texas, and that might be the play, but i wouldnt go heavy on it.....

and i can assure you, this isnt a game that vegas is trying to "trap" anyone.  the action will be heavy on this game and they want it to be equal.  they will swing the line in either direction in order to make that happen.

texas does come in with a lot of motivation being the underdog facing the sec champs with the heisman winner...

but bama has is 3-0 vs top 10 teams while texas is yet to play a top ten team... bama's SOS is 12th where texas' is 49th.

i know there is a hell of a lot more you should look into when capping this game... but to me, these two stats are telling. it tells me bama has played bigger games this year against better opponents... and won all of them.  while texas is playing weak opponents in games that no one cares about (except for the big 12 championship, which they nearly lost).

this bama team is just better prepared to play on big stage against a big time opponent... bama wins by 10.

Wrong team is favored, Texas wins this game straight up. Texas will be ready and will play their best game of the season. It's wierd but Texas will be up and ready for this game. Watch and see
