I Have a Futures bet On Florida at +850 to win the NC ... so i might have been biased  for some Time ...
I thought Florida would be laying between 7.5 and 12.5 and I would Pound on the Gators...
 
Now after watching  more of these teams and tracking the numbers all year ...
 
Im thinking the Tide will be the first Fantatsic Front 7 the Gators have faced ... Next to ????? Ole Miss
 
..I Love Florida's speed on offense and Tebow's ability to tuck it and run Over almost everyone ... The Tide will be right there at times to Smash Tebow in his tracks ...
The Gators  will really have some big Plays with Counters , Traps ,and the  Play action could be deadly ...... The Tide will move the ball and try to burn some clock... I see Both Defenses putting their Offenses in great Field P{os.

How can u guys say bama has a great defense when they have shut down scrubs. Tulane, Western Kentucky, Arkansas St, Auburn, Tennessee, LSU, and Miss ST.... man those are great offensive teams. Yeah Saban has them playing good, but this is not the defense of the 92 championship team. Even without Harvin they roll. The backups looked pfretty good in the rain against an equally good FSU defense.

No I agree Florida could roll... But I don't think your Given the Bama Front 7 enough credit ... TOP 5 in the Country,,, far better than anythign the Gators have faced

Damn if Penn State had not lost to Iowa I would be looking good right now well at least unti the BCS game.  I put a futures bet with them before the season started and they were 50/1 with 6 Units!  But you have to consider yourself bias in this position now....I mean shit if my futures bet team was playing I would have to be all over them too.  Unfortunately, this is one of the FEW games that I am opposite of you on.  I love #1 team as DD dogs.  The Tide are very balanced in all aspects of the game.  They have strong special teams, defense is top notch, and the offense gets the job done.  Yes I understand your doubts concerning Bama's schedule.  But in the end they are undefeated.  The SEC is down this year I really do not think they are the elite conference this year (Big 12 is mind boggling offense but defense sucks).  In the end good luck my friend I will putting many units on Bama but if I were to lose I would be happy you had won.

Mark my words, never ever ever ever ever listen to Lee Corso.  In this context, he is wrong despite the fact he is giving Bama credit.  I don't think he is giving them enough credit.  I think it is foolish to assume Florida wins this game.  This game is a coin flip with Harvin.

People will look back and say, "Why did I take Florida missing their best player and still layin double digits to the number one team in the country?"

Alabama will be as motivated as West Virginia was last year for the Fiesta Bowl.  Imagine Saban's speech to his players:

"You've earned the number one ranking in the country and nobody believes we have a shot to win this game.  If people aren't going to give us the respect we deserve, then we'll just have to take it."
