Therefore laying a number like 17 to a fairly competent BG team is far too dangerous.

Mine: MSU is coming off their worst season since 1982. It was a culture shock to the alumni, locals and CFB world to see MSU struggle to such an extent. D'Antonio has only a few games against inferior competition in a highly completive conference. If he wants to make a statement early (i.e., that he has righted the ship off one of MSU's worst seasons ever) now is the time to do.

From there I break down Bowling Green above and explain why 17 is inadequate in terms of being backdoored.

Thank you for the contribution but I really think I have the superior argument here. It is not surprising to see MSU in seasons where they were competing for a national championship to play it close to the vest early.

This is not ordinary season. Results must come fast and furious or they'll be plastered on the front pages once again. Wins, big wins, make that a distant memory (and this is much like the Notre Dame cap over Temple where you have an inexperienced coach on one side vs. a team that must make a statement early at home, with a very similar line in both).

Uni, interesting stuff. No names on the jersey. Wow.

Great response.  I'm certain MSU will rebound, but I see the rebound happening next year.  They had so many personnel losses and are razor thin on both lines.  They are starting two walk ons at DE in the first game.  On the plus side, they will have much better QB play this year with Lewerke.

I completely agree with the psychological side for MSU, but I fear they simply don't have the horses this year.  MSU built their program redshirting the majority of their freshmen, develop them over the course of three years, and have them start as upperclassmen.  With all the suspensions, transfers, and early departures, they weren't able to do that the last couple years and are now showing chinks in their armor.

Not trying to prove you wrong, you're one of my favorite posters on here, just trying to add my two cents to give you an angle you may not see.  The line did drop a half a point yesterday, so you may be able to get a better line if you wait it out until the morning of the game.

Do you own research people, make up your own mind and take your "real money" and invest it wisely!   And yes....."real money" should not be put squarely on Gambling.

Good luck this week Scal.  I like many of your write-ups and games. - Sharp.....

SCAL's past performance is .500 at best and you act like he's god's gift.  wake up and get a life..

MSU GONNA ROLL.  Too many weapons and BG too weak offensively and defensively.

TAKE MSU -17 FTW, ladies and gentlemen!!!!

MSU GONNA ROLL.  Too many weapons and BG too weak offensively and defensively.

TAKE MSU -17 FTW, ladies and gentlemen!!!!

Why even argue with the free pick with synopsis.  If you don't agree just fade.  The man posts his record and is up to the bettor to determine if the data is valid.  Many cappers hit about 500.  Just alot of them don't tell you they do.

I agree all the pieces are not there for a standard D'Antonio 'great season'.

But your point about Lewerke is a good one too. Many didn't see what he had last year and now will.

This is more of a fade of Bowling Green as I see them continuing to sink with Babers at a number I like at home off a historically bad season.

But yes, there are missing horses. Point taken.

    Michigan State 35
    BGSU 10

    Final

This was as the title said. A square "put your feet up" cover

BGSU played as capped, a team with no identity. 9 first downs and 212 yards of offense. Could have been worse as MSU had 3 turnovers and fumbled inside their own 1 yard line to start the game.

Now 2-1 winning with Rutgers and rebounding from the Utah State debacle.

    Time to get another win

Had the U56 in this game and thought I was dead after those two quick TDs late in the 3rd. Then the scoring just dried up.

Ended up having 10 points to give at the end.

A "Shi*head"...when I type something up for strangers for nothing to help them win. And the pick hits too. Aren't you a real gentlemen!

Well ya see stardust the difference between you and me is that you're the typical square.

You see a big name team on TV against a nobody and you, what did you say, "think for 5 seconds and took Sparta".

Me? I look into every single play before I make it, sometimes thinking about it for days and even weeks in the offseason, and in the case of Rutgers over the Huskies, A YEAR.

You? 5 seconds of capping and the pick is in.

You're like the premature ejaculation of capping, winning today...and blowing your whole load tomorrow.

See ya...in the gutter. My write-ups can't help ya when you have no money left.

Thanks genius. People actually lose at capping? Amazing.

And 62% of them were winners, square.

So you'd be where I left you if you faded them all.

    In the gutter.

Yes please check my history! I document it myself as well because of people like you!
