| FG | Miami 31 - Texas A&M 3 Matt Szymanski 32 yd. field goal |
| 4th Quarter - 8:03 | |
| TD | Miami 31 - Texas A&M 10 Stephen McGee 1 yd. run (Matt Szymanski kick) |
| 4th Quarter - 2:07 | |
| FG | Miami 34 - Texas A&M 10 Francesco Zampogna 23 yd. field goal |
| 4th Quarter - 0:05 | |
| TD | Miami 34 - Texas A&M 17 Martellus Bennett 33 yd. pass from Jerrod Johnson (Matt Szymanski kick) |
FG was made with 2 minutes to go. Alot different than 25 seconds left to go in the game. Whatever. A friend of mine wished an injury on Tebow (who happens to be a nice young man) because Meyer went for the TD and he didn't even wager on the game. Bad karma when you do people dirty.

The BCS formula does not take into account margin of victory, nor do any of the computer polls it uses ![]()
Obviously, victory margin can influence the human polls, which drive the BCS

couldnt agree more...when you have boosters putting 100+ K a year into the program and mention to the coach that "hey it sure would be nice to cover that spread, i have a little pocket change on the game wink wink"...This happens a lot in the big program schools with huge booster money coming through that coaches dont want to disapoint the boosters...
remember who is paying the coaches salary? thats right, a lot of that money is coming from boosters
..compound this with shannons comments and window dressing for the voters who didnt see the game but saw the final score, it makes more sense.
All in all, still a shitty move by Meyer.
