I see no problem with anyone venting over such a tough loss as this game was. That comeback was a freakin miracle. I also had B.C. +3 so when I left to go to work in the middle of the 4th qtr I thought I had lost this game. By the time I got to work and checked the score on the computer this was my reaction B.C. 14 VT 10 what happened?
Another thing we learned tonight is that B.C. is not the # 2 in the nation, and did Ryan blow his Hiesman chances? Or did he add points with that furious comeback?
ya your right dude, they only beat the #9 team in the country on the road on a night they didnt play their best, they should fall out of the top 25 for that, at least put u.s.c ahead of them who only lost to stanford clearly its better to actually lose than pull out a close game.

It played out just the way I handicapped it...BC wins by 4...
That is why I took them +3...in all honesty, it feels good to be on the winning side of one of those games once instead of getting moosed. One thing I did find out was that Ryan is way overrated in my opinion.

hey bigeast I guess you didnt watch the game because tech didnt do shit either! You cant keep a Ryan contained all game! That what good player do lead there team to victories! BC tried giving the game to tech but obviously tech was not good emough to take it! Good call on BC boys!!

BC looked like they were in slo mo for most of the game.. VaTech has a hell of a defense except I suspect the weather played a big role in Ryan's ineffectiveness. His passes looked horrible. and VaTech pass rush was relentless.
You gotta hand it to BC for not giving up and continuing to play to win.
I was actually hoping VaTech would recover the onsides so they would run the clock and give me the 3 1/2 pt cover.
My concern was they would go OT and Va Tech would win by a TD.

If you'd actually watched Glennon play this year, he's awful. There's just no way I can lay pts w/ an awful QB to a team that can run the ball - which BC did when they wanted...they just gave up on it too early - and a BC team w/ a great QB. Yeah, you're right. ok, lets say VT doesn't get the "lucky" td in the first half. So they settle for 3 points. BECAUSE they were up 10-0 w/ 4 min left in the game, they turn to a prevent defense. VTech's D crushed BC all night. It wasn't unitl they played soft because of a cushioned lead, did they give up chunks of yards. I gurantee that if it was a 3-0 game w/ 4 min left, VTech doesn't go to a prevent D and once again BC's O gets shutdown. Not taking anything away from the BC backers but come on... you can't honestly say they didn't deserve to cover/win

I capped the game off what I saw from BC playing NC State. Ryan struggled with the speed of NC St's DB's and they won b/c they were able to run the ball. I thought the same would happen here, but i didn't think they would be able to run, which they weren't, hence my side.
Ryan struggles against speed in the secondary. Until he does it for 40 minutes against the likes of a team who isn't Bowling Green, he should stay in the overrated category. BC's punter was the MVP of that game, b/c as he was busy doing his job keeping field position manageable and keeping them in the game, Ryan was doing NOTHING.
I don't care about the last two drives. any QB can lead drives against a prevent D. That punter was the only reason those drives meant anything at all. I it weren't for him, those drives would have just been to get points to make the score respectable. But b/c of him, they were able to stay in teh game and go for the win.
