Notre Dame and BYU deserved more and a case could have been made for Texas and Vanderbilt, if not

Also, isn't it obvious the BIG 10 is THE elite conference this year???

Georgia has a shot and TTECH does outside of any BIG10 team but no one else

I'm being super selective and only want to save my cash for Playoff bets mostly because most games are just coinflips....Only bowl game today that has me intrigued is the GTECH/BYU game..... what's with this total???

Motivation to score is just not there for bowls and both teams play to not run up scores either by offensive style or defensive prowess

BYU doesn't care!! ....by far the worst defense I have seen them play all year   BOWL GAMES ARE GUESSING GAMES and hate betting this way ...fack!

Illinois +3.5 @ 1.72 x 3U  (alt line)  and 1U  ML +125

-watching this TOTAL as well....I lean to the OVER but its going to be cold and I think the advantage is Illinois with the Vols players having the friendly crowd won't matter if they find the cold to be bothersome

-Illinois could make history with their 9 win season and that weighs a lot more than Tennessee finding the motivation to overcome a QB that has one of the highest completion rates in the country.... also, Illiniois is a patient team, and this should give their defense plenty of blow time to recover to disrupt the Vols offense but I cannot say the same for the Vols who tend to leave their bad defense on the field a lot

-if the weather were warm, I would lean toward the Vols but I think the passing game will have enough issues with the conditions to sway me the other way with a patient Illinois team with greater motivation

Initially I was on the Vols.... but did some digging. I think SEC is itching to slay some BIG10 teams but the Illinois defense is much better than theirs

-ELITE ELITE run stop team with all kinds of speed and talent on the defense + a very balanced offense and strong offensive line

- Ducks need their run game to open up receivers and spaces for Moore to exploit ..... Texas Tech bullied arguably the best offensive line early in the season @ Utah and smoked the Utes on their home field.... and to top it off, they held LJ Martin to 35 yds as one of the best RBs in the nation this year when BYU played them

-this team is built to win it all and I think they could give the Buckeyes a game but all depends on Morton being healthy and accurate if they played

- I am scratching my head as to why the Ducks are favorite here but respect to their talent and head coach and I could lose this bet but I believe I have a nice ticket worth $500 laid to make $575 in profit

 -I really don't think Miami can score double digits on this Buckeyes defense, especially with Carson Beck at QB and Toney is a nice player....but its not like the Buckeyes have not seen talent like him the whole season in the Big 10!

- I rolled around in my mind if the Buckeyes need to stomp on Miami and I don't think they have to...it might still happen and if it does, we should probably see a 35 - 7 score and might see 38 - 3 

-Miami has a top 10 defense BUT ....Buckeyes have seen some of those all year and Bo Jackson /Smith talent on the scale is too hard to overcome and Sayin has turned into one of the most accurate QBs with play calls setting up deep throws to Smith 

Most likely competitive score > 31 - 10 Buckeyes 

Leaning Indiana-Bama UNDER 48 but want to reflect on this.... I see no chance of Bama beating Indiana who is balanced on offense and run the ball very effectively with one of the most sure QBs in the nation..... and Offensive Line that Bama will have their hands full so I see play action being quite effective for the Hoosiers vs a strong Bama secondary 

Will Indiana overpower Bama and score over 30 and Bama hit 20? That is what I am mulling

I don't like this line...its a sucker line for Bama bettors on hopium and yes last year, teams with a bye had issues in their games but Bama is not the second coming of jesus on offense this year to rattle the Hoosiers, especially without a run game and Ty Simpson scrambling a lot in the last couple of games ...Hoosier chase speed is elite around the line of scrimmage

Georgia -6.5 is pretty tasty but I want to look into some OLE Miss film to see what they do in games with Chambliss when he is down ...Georgia defense has become a machine and look very fast in their past few games that I watched....I think we just might see a Georgia 2x TD win if I think Georgia will hold Ole Miss offense to more stops than drives

 Awesome analysis bro! The Big Ten is 4-0 SU and ATS so far this bowl season, and the SEC has been pretty underwhelming. Leaning Illinois and Iowa as dogs vs. Tennessee and Vanderbilt respectively, and I can't see TCU beating USC with a backup QB. I'm leery of taking the Hoosiers. The Heisman jinx IS a thing and it could be a sloppy track at the Rose Bowl. Still, the line seems a mite short, and stepping in front of Cignetti is risky business. I'll probably pass that one. Miami vs. Ohio St. looks like a slobberknocker. If Carson Beck plays clean the Canes could hang. I've got Texas Tech and Georgia meeting for the title, and both teams should take care of business on New Year's Day. No official plays yet, though BOL! 

Beck has to beat the #1 secondary in the nation.... miles difference between Notre Dame and Ohio St secondary...plus stay on his feet and not be stressed in the pocket 

Miami defense will have big difficulty stopping Jeremiah Smith who they may start to throw to, mixing in Tate, in order to open up for Bo who has bust the game wide open potential ....Cristobal could not hold Ryan day's clipboard but that said, anything is possible I guess

Watching Iowa - Vandy....should have slammed the +5.5 ....its obvious that SEC teams are not used to BIG 10 defense and speeds.... Pavia cannot get a long reception thrown and Iowa defense is getting to him

Kind of shocked by that result....Miami playing like I think TTech will play ....BUT I don't know....with the layoff.....SURELY the Buckeyes had the wrong first half game plan. I will be doing an in game bet to carve back some money if it looks 'unusual'

6 - 3 +5U now with Buckeyes Under....but it could evaporate or double the next game

OSU looked unprepared and fairly unmotivated… or Miami just physically beat them…. Yes I lost.  I thought a 24-10 type of game.   Under was the play.  Line moved huge to Miami last 2 hrs before kickoff…. Someone knew.   

Like the NFL and other professional/ college sports too most years, I have to remember to fade the champs with spread, especially if they hang a number over 1 TD and the dog has a very strong defense.... 

Beck showed courage and slayed some dragons too.... and I totally agree with you, OSU was deep down mentally checked out thinking it would be easy because they were already halfway up the mountain with a great team

I am watching Ducks and they look super ready on offense .... but this Texas Tech defense is elite and showing it .....to counter and if they get their run game going, LOOKOUT !

I took Ducks/TTECH Under 44.5 in-game x 2U just before this drive ....posted it in my bball thread...whoops!

Its gonna take some time for the Tech offense to get going ....just like Ohio St and just like Georgia later and likely Indiana, but I suggest the micro manager Cignetti to make some adjustments to help Mendoza settle and use the run game and jet sweeps etc ....QB options
