Season has flown by fast!!
Play #1 - BYU - TTECH Under 49 x 2U
- I fully expect BYU to throw the kitchen sink plays on offense but it will only buy them field position and mostly FGs or turnovers on 4th down attempts
-this is an NFL style defense for TTECH...I am excited to watch them play one of the big dogs and really see them crank it up
- this is their dress rehearsal to send a message on defense to everyone in the Playoff
- offensively, they will try to protect Morton, since Hammond is out I think for the rest of the season....so play action passing off of successful runs ...when wishing to pass downfield farther than 15 yds or more....otherwise, safe passing plays to keep Morton
healthy
-I have a ton of respect for this BYU defense which is sometimes very nasty and they are extremely well coached positionally and I expect them to have schemes to prevent run success so the first Q should be a meatgrinder
- its gonna be a long time before TTECH plays again so expect a complete game from them featuring what they do best
Final score 24 - 13 or 31 -13 < tops - TTECH wins
Play #2 - Georgia - Alabama OVER 48 x 1U
- playing on a fast turf where I expect the defense to not have much advantage and scoring from long plays appearing occasionally with a strategic type of game
- both teams will lay it on the line as a sort of dress rehearsal for the playoff and Alabama will want to keep this tight at the bare minimum because I believe, they should not be in the playoff if they lose (badly > more than 7 pts ) ....I have a ton of respect for Simpson as a QB....I think he will be a dynamite NFL QB ala Brock Purdy- like in success or better
-Georgia is humming on all cylinders right now so both teams should score well
Play #3 - Indiana - Buckeyes Over 47 x 2U
- hammer this in my opinion ...I don't want to blow my wad yet but I think this one is worth a punt
- Lucas Oil field is a high scoring turf with two fast teams who wish to lay the gauntlet down on each other and I believe, Indiana will be more motivated than Ohio St....... sounds weird saying this, but +4.5 for Indiana was the way I was going to go, but decided the total was better....Buckeyes are elite-complete....Indiana is faster than them in some positions so this one will be a get the popcorn game out and watch them run the score up....ala Indy Colts with Manning vs New England with THE GOAT at QB
Should be some fun football to watch ...
